Dissociating account login ID from in-game ID and 2FA when?

Good morning beautiful people,

Is there an ETA for these two pretty much mandatory account security features?

The way account security is handled puts the onus of keeping our accounts safe squarely on the user side but we are lacking even the most basic tools to do so.

Using unique passwords and changing them regularly no longer suffices, in fact it has not been sufficient for quite some time.

You can get 2FA if you use and buy the game via steam and a steam login instead. If you already have the game then I don't think there's a way to move your account *to* steam.

If it's like every other microsoft posession I imagine it'll be getting moved to a Microsoft account soon. They've been migrating things like Minecraft for a while.

As it turns out I purchased ESO before it was made available on Steam.

Hopefully you are right and these features will be implemented soon
