    I'd like to see the performance improvements that have been promised for years and a business model that is more respectful of the customer.

    Quests and ambiance:
    - More fixed musical solutions in regards to what we are doing
    (Music should strike fire from the heart of man, and bring tears from the eyes of woman - Ludwig Van Beethoven)
    - Better animations/expressions/reactions to conversations with quest givers/npcs (Breathes life into quests)
    - The possibility of using our own characters as companions (Enables a sense of freedom and possibilities)
    - More realistic quest ambiances/adult orientated content (no not what you think) and less 'plastic' thematics.

    Classes/skills:
    - Class skill animation reworking be it by sound or by graphical means (The devil is in the details)
    - A new weapon type (Something inherent to Tamriel and it's lore, perhaps something we've never seen in any other game)
    - Introduce new types of dungeon or craft-able sets which resemble raid sets (%5 against mobs/monsters)

    Hybridization, combat and world building:
    Now that the game is taking a hybrid style approach, why not rework weapon skill lines so that they can meld seamlessly with the next meta/gaming approach. For example physical damage from a staff 'Strike the ground with your staff to create a seismic attack etc'

    I don't mind the next approach they will be taking as many players have been asking for it on the forum's for years, so why not.
    But I just hope they'll do it thoroughly and introduce a variety of play styles...not just one or two for meta purposes locked around sets. It's either world building through combat or just another DLC patch for sales.

    More houses, especially smaller homes. Customizable furniture. Higher furniture limits and/or freely assignable category limits.An on/off toggle for mount tacks and saddles. More color channels for armor and costumes. More furniture leads . Pots with earth for creating potted plants. More natural water (ponds) for homes - thinking of the sulfur pool without sulfur….

    I'd love a pve-only Cyrodiil for questing, a story mode for the DLC dungeons so I can solo without getting mauled by the mobs and bosses, and more character slots.

    QoL improvements such as the possibility to further extend bank+bag space through gold would be nice.

    But my more realistic wish is for 1H + Spell (however they decide to do that, be it rune or empty or whatever).
    It continues to boggle my mind that this isn't in the game already. It is the single most iconic Elder Scrolls player archetype out there (a character that mixes spellcasting and martial prowess). The marketing team knows this... their "Elven Hero" who is literally meant to be a stand-in for the player character in their cinematic trailers uses a single one handed sword and a spell in the offhand. Even the "Breton Hero" when fighting in melee will use a single one handed sword without a shield. The fact that this is an unsupported combat style makes no sense.

    Even if Skyrim is the only other Elder Scrolls game that let you equip a spell in that fashion, the feel was still there in the other games, and playing with a single one handed weapon was perfectly viable without lowering your damage potential. And really... Skyrim was hands down the most popular game in the series, and ESO coming out after it meant that the expectation for that style of combat was well established.

    The fact that there is only one offensive weapon line for magicka users 8 years after release, and there is no melee magicka weapon support is nuts.

    High Isle would have been the perfect expansion to release the 1H+Spell style given that they are kicking off the year with a huge change in how damage is calculated and allowing effective hybridization of skills. This new weapon set could have been a melee based magicka set with optional stamina morphs on some skills to be the poster child of the combat revamp. A missed opportunity.

    Increased furniture limits (I need at least 1000-1200 slots for my Psijic Villa, 700 is way too few.)

    Increased drop rates and availability of heartwood and mundane runes to fix ridiculous pricing.

    The death of light attack weaving for DPS and healing. This cannot happen soon enough. I know, I know, it's a vital part of the game play experience, blah blah blah. I still want it gone.

    Companion stats page (as in SW:TOR) so that you can see how the gear you put on your companion is affecting them, as well as their totals for penetration, crit, health, magicka, etc.

    More than two or four new dungeons a year. 8-10 would be a good number of dungeons to add per year.

    "Super-size" trials with 5, 6, .. maybe 8 or even 10 bosses.

    Not locking the best weapons in the game behind arenas, or changing sets so that arena weapons are not so "required" as they are now for many builds and classes. (I do have most of the weapons from BRP and MA.)

    More Draugr. Lots more draugr. Scarier draugr, too. The ones in Skyrim used to terrify me when prowling barrows late at night in the dark.

    Perfected versions of set items from old trials (Craglorn, MoL, etc.) to make their other gear more useful and more relevant again other than AY and Alkosh.

    Wardens being able to tame various animals, not just bears -- wolves, senche, haj mota, netches...whatever. Those pets having unique skill lines and abilities. Yes, this is a shameless copy of WoW Beast Master hunters, but it works there, and it would work here.

    Converting all Green Tree CP skills into passives and not slottables -- remove slotting from green tree entirely.

    The ability for a Guild to purchase and designate an in-game house as a Guild Hall instead of requiring everyone to go to one of the guild members' primary residence. I do not know why this has not happened yet. It should have happened a long time ago.

    Less lag in Cyrodiil and more Campaigns to join.

    A Constructor or Tinkerer skill line, to fabricate mechanical non apex mounts, non combat pets, furniture and maybe even companions (skins). Can't let that Dwarven knowledge go to waste.

    Think WoW Mechano Hog mount, with the sidecar as a multi mount option.

    A friend of mine plays DCUO. They are experimenting with pre-announced devs coming into the world playing a world boss as a special event, with huge amounts of health. Once killed, they drop very rare loot.
    After I saw a vid of a dev world boss fight, I insta wanted those in ESO too, so I'm adding that to the wish list.

    PvP performance in Cyrodil including not being DC'd 4 times an hour, just before the tick. Yeah I know....whine whine whine.

    In addition:
    Dungeons having Story mode, maybe even where the NPC's give even more explicit tutorials on how to beat the bosses.

    New trials and dungeons with interesting mechanics: I really like the last 3 updates where lower DPS can still get vet done if they follow mechs through side boss buffs and ferwer one shots and the story and mechanics are integrated into the new area.

    Not interested in yet another skill line or class nor in harder overland content: I want the existing combat issues, dead and broken sets and inconsistent rule sets fixed, particularly with the move to hybridisation.

    Unrealsitic wish list: ability to select/ target group member for so called smart heals like rapid regen

    1. Change the BG queues to DM / other rather than DM / any. Nothing against DM but it's very rare to get a non DM BG at the moment which makes it infuriating to try to progress the achievements associated with the other modes.
    2. Make it so potions don't get consumed while in combat with a target dummy. This would greatly reduce the expense of parsing regularly and would be a huge boost to "raising the floor".

    imagine skyrim - u say to people u have to play all quests on novice but alduin is buffed af

    all decently good players cant enjoy the quests and thats said - i have a mate who LOVES the eso lore but after seeing mehrunes dagon dies in 2min he stopped caring to

    its just boring to play and quests cant be enjoyed even if they have good story

    When I first played Skyrim I wandered through all the main story, got diverted into the official DLCs and then finally met Alduin. I handed him his backside on a plate without trying and it was all rather meh.... It's not a problem unique to ESO.

    It's also very hard to do a veteran mode overland. If you just make the resistances higher and the mobs tougher it's like a lot of the older vet dungeons, merely tedious. If you add ESO style crappy one shot mechanics it becomes the same cheesy tedious random death by lag that some vet dungeons have.

    So a veteran overland actually involves making the mobs a lot smarter (which aint going to happen when their servers can no longer even keep up with dungeons without lags, broken groups and disconnects). I'd love a vet overland because the story fight element basically no longer exists when you do 35k+ to actual story bosses. However I don't think it's actually practical.

    If you just go out in your underwear with junk gear and do the overland you get a feel for what 'vet overland' would be like unless you did major reworks on the mob smarts and skills. It's basically boring.

    To the point I’m allowing ESO+ to lapse (which I rarely do, even when not actively playing ESO) until it is finally implemented.
