But seriously, more slots on the friend list hurts no one, I'd like to see it.
Uh... if the server needs to constantly check whether any given friend is online, that sounds like a big optimization issue that needs to be straightened out.MovesLikeJaguar wrote: »I have like 8 friends, and I keep up with one of 'em. Actually, it hurts everyone. The longer the list the greater the load on the server. The server is constantly checking our friends list to see who logs in and logs out which makes it a very real load that is added to the servers. At a time when Zenimax is trying to improve performance, I am guessing they will hold off on such changes even if they think it is a good idea.
I am not arguing against the idea, just pointing out the real issue the suggestion faces.

Ah - here's an easy read. Seems if you're British it's 150 and 290 if you're from the US; guess some things really are bigger over there.

Playstation I believe its 500 should give you PC folks the same.
I cleared my entire block list yesterday then ended up having a nice chat with one of the people I'd just unblocked about pvp builds.

I think some folks must really be stretching the definition of "friend" if they are filling up their list. Maybe they need to implement an "acquaintance" list.
