Prioritize bug fixes

Just read the PlayStation patch notes and aside from lighting and a pet fix there was nothing of import. Just stuff that could rarely happen, I mean ultra rarely.

Can the team please prioritize the major bug fixes and not these things that can ultra rarely occur? Just seems like every patch it’s to fix some extremely rare bug that I’ve not heard or read of any player encountering. A vase? SMH.

Where are the combat fixes? Where are the major performance/stability fixes? Teleporting away while another player eats food and crashing seems so minor and unlikely to happen compared to other issues in game. Like lag or skills not working in combat.

Just believe that major bugs should be prioritized over these minor highly unlikely to occur bug fixes.

Good point. I cringe when I read "Fixed a bug that could very seldomly ultra rarely sometimes possibly cause a crash." When I'm like "here's a bug that happens HALF THE TIME! Fix that one!!!!"

The lantern reveal rings in the TG heists and DB sacraments are a perfect example. That bug has been around for almost SIX YEARS and occurs in just about every heist.

I understand that the announced performance work will take months to work on and that they will start implementing it in pieces later this year. The information in contained in the PvP post Matt Firor created. Even though that is a PvP thread the work that he mentions affects the entire game.

I would also hope that bug fixes are ongoing things instead of waiting for one specific patch.

I have recommended before that Zenimax have a page that lists the known issues. With each issue, it notes the status such as they are working on a solution, solution pending patch on a specific date in the near future, or the best status that it was fixed in the patch on a specific date in the past. Of course, this would really be three pages, one for each platform. It would give a clear indication of what they are working on.

This is great for us but means we also know if they are sweeping something under the rug. The Dev TRracker section of the forums is to disorganized to be of much use.

Yeah but we already had a whole year for performance fixes or have people already forgotten that?

I like the idea of a known issues section and a dev tracker. I know a handful of other games do this on their forums. Helps keep things tidy and prevents a bunch of repeat post.

They tend to fix exploits/glitches that enable players to have an advantage.
On the other hand I've been noticing reoccurring bugs in PVE raids recently.

    Example:

    - VSS HM on the last dragon boss Nahvintaas - Sometimes you cannot resurrect people, it is bugged and doesn't work
    - Multiple crashes in PVE raids (Can't do one without at least 3/4 random crashes from players)
    - VCR side bosses (The Gryphon lands and disappears, if you spent your ultimate..well too bad)

They are really annoying bugs and can be game breaking. Imagine a tank dies in VSS HM and I can't resurrect him? What do I do now? Start over I suppose.

It's hard to keep up ESO+, I said it recently in regards to PVP bugs/performance and it's now slithering itself into PVE....

This would be nice inappropriate as we have bugs lasting years upon years
