Account-wide achievements - toggleable

For me, this feature is great, BUT I can understand why some people are gainst it. So, here are the options, i.e. enable the Achievements toggleable, either
--specific achievements, of our own choice
--all achievements in Settings
Just that

I can see why people like the idea - I did Grand Master Crafter on my first crafting toon and I'm part way through doing it all again on my main so account wide achievements will save me a lot of gold - but overall I still hate the idea, I would very much like to turn it off. This is a MMORPG and I don't want the roleplay of my heroic characters totally undermined by them suddenly having achievements for mass murder, theft and assassination.2

If ZOS could (they should but idk I'm not a dev) they should consider implementing a toggle.4 -

Once was enough for me, 5 days in coldharbour for 1 fish! Never again.
I swore it off after the first one but with 2.0 I figured I'd give it another try, lol. The stingerpike took me forever in coldharbour too...I hated it in there! I'll still fish here and there for ROE but other than that like a shiny awesome RP title like MA nah ...no need anymore right!!!0 -

But think they won’t consider any changes as were ‘super-excited’ about this.

I've go the title on a couple of characters and am from time to time hopping on another to get him the title. I want him to earn it. Might never happen because I don't play that character often but I don't want any of my characters getting things they don't deserve. I know people with more than ten master fishermen. They are also working on other characters and account wide achievements take away from that.
The ones I play kind of regular have their own houses. As much as I can keep track the only achievement furniture they get to use is what they have the achievement for. I want my characters to earn their achievements with no help from other characters. I don't want goods I laundered on one character count towards the total on another character. I wouldn't mind being able to see and share achievements obtained across the entire account but I also want to see what each character has accomplished and I am very much against the idea of multiple characters contributing to one achievement.
You want a master fisher achievement on your account wide list of achievements one character should have to earn that achievement without help from other characters. It's fine if some players don't want to play their alternate characters. Many of us do enjoy playing our alternate characters and not being able to have character specific achievements takes away some of the incentive to play those alternates.and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."4
