crafting daily question

been away since start of last xpac.

made a new character and there are no quests to be done to gain the crafting skill trees..is this on purpose now?

i just had to go to each station and i got the skill lines.

also how long do i have to wait till i see the crafting dailies after gaining the skill lines? because they werent there on that new character.

Character needs to be level 5 (6 for jewelry, no clue why the difference) to see the crafting dailies.

You'll get the skill lines the first time you use them.

To do the daily writs, you'll need to do the quests at level 6 to become "certified".

You will need to pick up the quests to become certified, then you can do dailies. I believe you go to fighters guild for armor, mage's guild for pots and food, and summerset crafting hall in Alinor for jewelery.
