From all your alt characters, wich one is your favorite one? Why? What adventures did yo go through with them? What makes some alts being more special to us then others?
Feel free to share your story here, include pictures if you want.

I will start with my fav alt from PC EU also known as my second main character;

Name: Hircine's Daughter
Race: Nord
Faction: Aldmeri Dominion
Class: Necromancer
Occupation: Beating up bad boys in Cyrodiil, occassionally participating in a Battleground, drinking mead and hunting with her pack.

Once I got a little bored with PvE stuff I thought of trying out some PvP,I wanted to play a race I did never play before in ESO and which could fit in my concept of PvP,so which one could be better than a tough nordic girl?At the beginning it was a little difficult to get used to play a necromancer, specially being stamina based, but once I got the trick I didnt stop PvPing for a long time.

My fav alt on PC NA;

Name: Minka Sharpclaws
Race: Khajiit
Faction: Aldmeri Dominion
Class: Templar
Occupation:Taking unwanted things from others, using Blade of Woe as claws, eating sweetrolls and other legal things.

My thief and assassine character,I specifically went with templar instead of a nightblade because why not? Works just as fine.
Still need to get her to lvl 50 but I have no rush with it,till she will be a full skilled thief she will still need some CP and some proper gear.

I don't have a picture of him to hand, but its Norman the necromancer. He is a 20 something rather well rounded redguard fellow who lives with his parents in Riften and works as a bank clerk.

At night he thought he was rebelling against his parents and teaching himself animalistic shaman rrites, but actually he was learning necromancy skills.

He is in all honesty a character I am rubbish at playing - he was initially created to play in an under level 50 trial, and I kept him to do that whenever I ran another. He eventually hit level 50, so I now just take him into PVP monthly to hit level 1 and get the 50 transmutes

Managed to get some pictures of Norman.

One is him dressed for work and as his parents know him, the other is Norman working at his 'Shaman' hobby

    I have 2 characters:

Little Breton Girl - a tiny girl who is a kleptomaniac sorceress, but not of her will. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time, she found herself between two battling mages. The fight pushed her through a portal, and when she arrived on the other side, she found a new love of casting lightning along with her poison-tipped arrows. Can't miss her, or maybe you can, given she's as fast as many mounts. Easily falls into a crowd as her attire is Soul Shriven gear. Though the Huntsman bow she carries is nearly as tall as she is.

Oh, and by the time you finish this sentence, she already made off with your bag of gold. Hahaha!

Milk Maiden of Mistral - a Khajiit born on Khenarth's Roost, she earned her way by selling milk arriving at the port of Mistral. Studying with various temples across the island, she mastered the arts of shadow and assassination. She utilized her studies to work with her gift of magicka, casting flames to enemies as she leaps about the battleground.

She just attained her highest level of study, and now she's on a quest to find the right resources to improve her battle techniques and damage.

In the meantime, you may be lucky to find her at an inn performing her infamous disappearing milk bottle trick. You have to see it to believe it!

At this point, I have no desire to create additional characters. I can't stress how tedious it is to level up alts. I wish there was a better way.

My dunmer ladies - who came last to the team - are about to take over - well, one of them is already No.1 and the other is in 3rd position - all necromancers. This is kind of weird because most of my characters are nightblades, which are doing just fine as they are and I like playing them - but there is something special about my dunmer ladies, which draws me to play them more often. It is not even combat related, all my characters are doing quite well (given they are no hero types).

This is my Mag DK. Her name is Firelight Searing-Bottom.

She has a bit of a romance with adventure, feels the calling to get up and go on a whim to far away places in search of treasures and beasties of all sorts.

If you catch her in a tavern on her travels, you may cajole it out of her how she got her name...with many a mug of Sujamma coming out of your pocket first.

There is, if you don't pay attention to the task of leveling up, but rather enjoy playing them and let them have their own experiences and base your game play on what they experience and can know about - as in role playing them - I do it like that and there is no grind at all, it all comes naturally over time, just doing a bit of everything which is in his/her ability range at that time - you know, more like enjoying the game seen from the perspective of your character than grinding levels seen from a meta perspective - more exploration by chance than going from marker to marker - let them have their own lives and enjoy themselves, eventually give them attributes like bravery, stubbornness, lawfulness, intelligence, cleverness (those are not the same, an intelligent person might not make the most clever choices at times and a stupid person can make quite clever decisions sometimes as well) and the like and play them out after these attributes - this is quite different to play like this.

I wish I could agree with this, but I cannot.

Although I only have 2 characters, I have had many more. A couple of years ago, I rage quit this game, deleted everything, and vowed to never come back. The gaming landscape as a whole has changed, and there isn't much else better out there. Stick with what you know, and it's why I'm back with ESO.

What I didn't know was killing off my main and alts didn't remove everything. I hit level 50 with a brand new character, and was thrust into CP1088, the level I left. No gear I could make without help. No areas unlocked. No skyshards. Just a handful of skill points and familiarity with running the faction areas.

In less than 2 weeks, I played all 3 factions, MQ, Coldharbour, Wrothgar, Morrowind, Summerset, TG, CWC, and am about to start Skyrim.

I cannot find a way to ignore the leveling up mechanics. As my research grinds painfully slow in order to craft my own items without help, I'm stuck with overland content. Be mindful I have NOTHING in inventory to craft gold-level items. Rage quit, remember.

Honestly, I wish the game had destroyed my CP along with the last character. I was expecting to start fresh, but now, I'm woefully ill-prepared to take on challenges such as trials with barely enough skills unlocked to tie my own shoes.

This is why I have only 2 characters - I scrapped the ideology behind "magicka = sorc" and "stamina = NB". I have a magsorc and sorcNB. It's about damn time I play the characters I want.

Now, it's time to beef them up so I can roleplay them in a world trying to eat my toenails off every step I take.

I have no regrets, but I wasn't expecting this when I came back. It's been... surreal, to say the least.

Now, I'm going to Deshaan to farm Mother's Sorrow.

    *sigh*

I wish there was a better way.

if I would play like this, I wouldn't have fun in ESO either - you can't let loose and forget about your meta info - and just role play your characters - he or she wouldn't know about mother's sorrow and so he wouldn't "farm" it - he would as well not rush through the game that quickly - because he wouldn't know most of what you know and what makes you play him that fast. Role play is dropping your knowledge as a player about the game and just base the characters doings after what he is experiencing and what he can possibly know about - you are using meta-information you as the player knows about and this is killing any role play if you do that - but it is your choice of course, it is just sad, that you cannot play like I do and enjoy it.

And yeah, there is only once a "first time" experience - I try to make it count and not rush it at all.

For a really fresh start you might need a new account - last sale one could get the full game for like 20 bucks - and if you get ESO+ in addition to it, you have access to the full game with all DLC content - a fresh start - no CP, no stuff, no mounts, nothing really - a fresh start. And then play at a slow pace - enjoying it, not working it, no grinding, just relaxed game play.
