My initial 3 month membership is running out in a couple days and I'm trying to decide which one to get next. 1 month or 3 again.
I wish you could buy a permanent sub. I did that once in another game and it was so worth it. I really dislike paying a monthly sub at all, but this game is not fun at all without the craft bag.

For those using ESO+ solely for the craftbag here's just a food of thought:
If you buy 9 additional accounts to your one existing when ESO is on sale, like at X-mas where it cost not even 7 €, that's a one time expense of roughly 63 € but you get the possibility to run up to 5 guilds on your own with each guild bank providing 500 storage spae. In addition to that you can create up to 8 characters which each has 60 slots at start and 60 shared bank space per account which are 4860 slots in total without any special training or bank/inventory extension purchases (not including private guild banks).
And now check what half a year of ESO+ will cost youI've just taken 13 € for simplicity here and I end up with 78 € which is quite more than 9 additional accounts you don't have to pay further in future but gain a lot of storage space. Sure, you will miss out on the convenience of the crafting bag and may have to run either 2 accounts simultaneously to trade stuff or send them via mail back and forth. You might also use the guild banks to do all the exchange. I.e. there are addons that allow you to collect all herbs with a toon out of a guild bank and store everything else that is tradable there. This might require you to constantly log back and forth through characters/accounts, though on the long run is much more cost efficient than ESO+. And on top of that you can grab the daily login rewards also on multiple accounts that way. I.e. if you logged in on each account during that month today is the day where you get the 100k coins, now count that up on 10 accounts then and you see where I'm going.
So, ESO+ is convenient but is for sure not the most cost-effective method on how to play the gameIt has its benefits though if you want to play DLC content as you don't have to buy those DLCs then (or later on buy them with crowns)

There is a solution to it, which I am using - a prepaid non-reoccurring payment method - you get all the crowns immediately after paying and it simply adds the time to your already running ESO+ time - it is very convenient. It doesn't fix the using crowns too fast effect though, I have normally used mine pretty much the day after already - but that is ok, I can add more ESO+ time anytime and get crowns, if I need some - and spending them is enhancing my gameplay and enjoyment of the game - having them on the wallet though does not.
Like I had no crowns left and then I came across that snow globe house - hm, a unique idea for a house and it isn't too big on the inside, but on different floor levels, and so I added 3 months ESO+ to my already existing 2+ months and got me that house, which is getting really nice and cosy - I'm nearly done decorating it - a jewelry station is missing still, but I will get one soon to make it complete (for my purposes).

What you are describing sounds like 'Elder micro management online' (without sub)
It sounds....tiring and defeats the purpose of a 'game'?
The sub model needs reworking. It's old and isn't in tune with what ESO is proposing imo.
though if you want to play DLC content as you don't have to buy those DLCs then (or later on buy them with crowns)
I literally could not put all of just the top-tier crafting materials I have (rubidite, ruby ash, etc..) into 5 guild banks... (not to even talk about the other 500 things in the craft bag) not to mention the time to take them out of said guild bank each day, the fact that guild bank deposit/withdraw is noticeably slower than the regular bank, sounds like just a different version of the inventory issues the game has without ESO+
Well, you have to set a value to your time spent juggling your inventories and accounts as well, it's called opportunity costs - if you factor that in, your method costs a lot more than ESO+ - and is so much more cumbersome - I don't know why you want to safe a few dollars each month - and put yourself under the inconvenience to juggle accounts and inventories. Is your time spent worth that less?
However, you are correct where it comes to bulk storage of non-crafting items. The base inventory space across 10 accounts of 8 characters will hold a lot of stuff. If you do at least one ESO Plus on top of that to skim off the crafting materials, then you have almost all of that for unopened Transmutation Geodes and furniture items.
I never claimed anything differentlystacks in guild banks are limited to 200 (for most crafting goods), where as they stack "infinitely" in the craft bag.I literally could not put all of just the top-tier crafting materials I have (rubidite, ruby ash, etc..) into 5 guild banks... If you have that many items then one could argument that this is dead capital. You might never need 10k rubedit ore or wood or the like, so why keep that much around? I agree that it takes noticable more time to take out stuff from a guild bank, besides having to move there explicitely, but addons on PC can help reduce the overhead definitely.
