From a fresh newly made character, what would be the timer on full content map completion? Assuming you have 12 or more hours a day to play and roll through the maps at a steady pace. Has anyone figured out the average time to complete all the content in every map? Few things to note this is without crafting or Gathering or anything done outside of map completions. I do realize there is a few things needed to finish specific maps such as fishing etc, however I am very curious to know. Thanks!

Opinion: There is no reason to play the game in this manner.

With that pace I'd say you can finish one regular vanilla zone per day. Chapter zones require more time while DLC zones require less (except Wrothgar, which would have been the first Chapter back then if they existed). I'd say a DLC zone is worth about 5 hours, a Chapter zone 15 hours and a vanilla zone 10 hours (of doing the map markers and not running around aimlessly). Craglorn and Wrothgar will be treated as Chapters. I do not count Imperial City and Cyrodiil.

    There are:

    16 vanilla zones (3x5 plus Coldharbour) = 160 hours
    5 starter islands = ~ 15 hours
    7 chapter zones = 105 hours
    7 DLC zones = 35 hours

    Overall: ~ 315 hours

It really depends if you skip all the dialogues or listen to them, if you're running speed is normal or you're using a mount etc. I'd say 300-400 hours, which is a lot.

Awesome! Thank you for the info! 300-400 hours is a good amount of content to get through. it helps to know a bit on average, I like to complete the maps as a free player, and having OCD. but at some point ill have to make crafting characters Oh joy, LOL!

Those numbers seem about right but the real time sinks are things like dungeon/ trial achievements and pvp achievements.

Probably took me 1000 hours over 5 years to hit max rank in Cyrodiil.

Regarding this, is it possible to mostly "pug" BG's and Trials through the group finder or Dungeon finder queue?

You can solo-queue BGs, Trials don't have an automatic dungeon finder-like queue, they must be pugged oldschool by asking in the zone chat or (highly recommended) ran with a guild. PUGs are rarely fun.

Well at least the pvp is queable too bad trials are not though. If they were i be all over that, and yeah for the most part pugs are not fun at all in Most games, but after pugging for over a decade, you get accustomed to them lol!
