Target dummies for Non-DPS

All the target dummies now are aimed at DPS players, and they come in various sizes and flavours, from the precursor for beginners to the trial dummy with its buffs.

I'd really like to see

- a dummy that attacks you when you get in range, takes no damage, and runs away if you don't hold taunt. So you have to practice blocking, taunting, shielding and tanking skills to stay alive.
- a dummy that arrives dead. You have to res it, and as soon as it's alive it starts losing health and you have to heal it until it dies again because you can't keep up.

Mostly PC-EU , with a lonely little guy on NA.

Also a dummy that whispers you insults and teabags you, to add something for PVPers as well. /s

Burst-showing dummy for PvP would be nice too. Show highest burst done in 1s, 2s and 3s.

The first suggestion can be found in St Olms. You can walk into VAS at any time by yourself and see how long you can stay alive. XD

Yes, it is hard to test how certain support sets or abilities actually work.

Same with vHRC, ride all the way to the first gate and tank the mob there.

I will take this target dummy IRL!

Nope, PoVs are better for support (heck even on dps). But CMX on console would be a welcome addition to track uptimes, burst, de/buffs, etc.

I won’t post that Wes, I’ll get [snipped] for the last time

A very good idea. It would be immensely useful to train support characters in their chosen roles.

It comes with teleporting desyncs, 1% to 100% heals and one-shot KOs right?

And incessant Crowd Control spam that overrides any immunities you might have.

For tanks, why not just go to vAS?

Both are already in the game:

Just check out for the tower runners in Cyrodiil. Its basically what you want.

If you join Cyrodiil, invite some random newbie players to your party and start sieging a keep etc. with them.

I keep bringing this up, support roles are pretty much dead: fake supporting roles are proof of it, support roles don't do much in PvP, and armory was meant for you to have a main damage build and a support role on the sideline for specific activities, solo arenas have DPS checks (when it wasn't really necessary, why do tanks get nuked for failing a DPS check?), and target dummies only test your DPS.
So you can keep wishing for support roles being fun, or accept the game for what it really is and just make a DPS build to enjoy everything.

I find my support role fun. No idea what you're talking about to be honest.
