Anyone starting a new character? I have a Pledge of Mara x2 and no one to game with...

im not subscribed so the bonus would help me a lot on my lvl 3 character, i plan to go through all content but slowly, the pledge adds 10% exp boost. if anyone is interested please post here. Ty. BTW my play schedule is 12 or more hours every day, but i play with lots of breaks etc.

So no one wants to group up and gain a 10% exp boost on a new character running content? Did I also mention i'm willing to gift store items once a month? Like a Mount, or possibly Content to keep grouping through? So long as your not too crazy and a speed demon through this stuff, I'm an old gamer. So my grindability is half speed these days...

Not sure how else to persuade anyone just to roll through the game, I am still sort of new so hopefully someone along that realm of playstyle would be a bonus lol!

XP comes insanely fast in this game honestly, it is hard to not hit 50 in short order, especially if you are wearing training armor, using XP scrolls/potions or playing during an event. I could be wrong, but will hazard a guess that folks aren't rushing to the idea, because you are basically asking to marry them, as that is what the ring is.

I tried leveling a character with a friend in WoW once. We planned to only play them when we were both on and level them together. That became very frustrating very fast. Being in the mood to play but having to wait for my friend to log on ruined it for me, and vice versa. I haven't tried it since.

I imagine others may feel the same.

Hey there!

It's great you wanna find someone to play with, because it does make the game way more fun. But don't get hung up on the 10% from pledge of mara - it's a lovely bonus, but if you craft an XP set to purple you'll get 70% more xp, plus scrolls can be worth 150% (meaning that 10% for mara, plus 10% for being with a friend, is a very minor benefit).

Hope you find someone on the US servers to play with!

yeah i can see that, i pretty much currently have that issue. i have 12+ hours to play every day. So finding anyone with a actual interest is becoming very frustrating. Even if the 10% is minor its still nice to play with someone when they are on. i mean at some points it is likely people will want to do other things than grind out content, i am fine with that. I'm not expecting to be bound at the hip. but if I can play with a partner a few hours a day i am happy. Not that it matters, but i do have a monthly gaming budget to help anyone looking to group up for content, I get things I need to play without a sub, but i rather share a bit to keep playing with a friend then waste half of it on crates, if that makes sense lol.

With that being said, I am pretty laid back old school gamer, Voice chat isn't even required as long as you can type a bit in group and we can get stuff done, that's all i am looking for. as for the crafting That will have to wait. i plan to get all the storage space capped out for my house plus one character i am working on. So that could be a while before i craft any of the nice leveling gear.

I’m on PC NA and I could make a set of training gear for you — send me a message if you’re interested! I know I love playing with others but also playing by myself and which and what content depends on my mood and so many things… plus the whole Ring of Mara being a marriage sort of thing… Just saying, don’t be discouraged! People will group and help you out along the way (there’s an XP bonus just for grouping too) and maybe you’ll find someone who’s a good fit for the Mara Pledge too but you can should still be able to level at a good rate without.

Yeah i didn't realize it was a marriage thing lol. and ty for the offer for the leveling gear, to be honest I will probably pass. The Scenario for me is that 1-3 people to play the game with is usually my limit, mostly why I don't join guilds anymore, either i get rafted into being a gamer on demand or i'm lost in an abyss of non chatty guilds, or Voice/Discord chat, to which i find really breaks the immersive quality's of this game. I.E. so many things that you mentioned LOL!!!!
