Now I Realize I haven't played in a long time, but I am Very Enthusiastic to play this game on my Xbox Series S console, I have 9 perk DLC's "Mostly" from log in events or very limited timed purchases. It is a bit frustrating to know that I cannot enjoy those items on Xbox from my connected PC account. some of these items were from The Beginning of this game. With that being said I do apologize for not playing this game more frequently, but so many great games had previously distracted me. I can see why this is an issue for store purchases being that the game wont generate as much revenue. However the items I am mostly referring to are specific mounts that are from exclusive log in rewards. a few pets. and a very specific Summer rest Mansion.

Also the fact that for console players or those who want to take a leap from PC to console is that Console players are hit with a double subscription fee IF they choose to do ESO+ I am not here to debate the "What's Best Platform" it is mostly due to circumstances to be quite honest. My budget is extremely limited being on a disability pension. With COVID still a major factor in todays world, the consoles are very much more budget friendly. Anyhow IF by some way Zenimax can find a way to some how grandfather previous purchases across all platforms. or at the very least Combine them once the links are made between accounts, It would be extremely nice. Because now I am very torn between my Blackwoods Xbox account and my PC account with the rare items.

I guess the bottom line is what makes the difference in My wallet. But the silver lining is a bit gouging for the Zenimax's wallet gaming budget. This is a debate and my dilemma I suppose.

Lets grasp this from others perspectives maybe I can come to a conclusion on what platform to play on, Should I play the updated Console Version without my perks? or Go back to a 9 year old PC just to enjoy them? I could use some Feed Back Thanks in Advance!!

I don't know the contract ZOS have with Sony/Microsoft, but it would be normal for first party companies to get a cut of all sales through their store (similar to Apple and Google stores). I can't imagine they would be happy for someone to buy ESO on PC for example and not get their share if it was played on PS or Xbox

As a playstation player I would say go with the console version (I'm sure lots of people will suggest play the PC version :) ) - but honestly I would look at how you prefer to play (controller, keyboard and mouse) and if its affordable to have your subscriptions vs having to upgrade your pc version and so on

Well, I'm playing the game on an 8 year old PC. Game works just fine. The high ping I have is due to satellite being my only available connection, so *shrug*....

YMMV of course - my machine wasn't anywhere close to "top of the line" when it was new, but I've never had issues doing anything I need to do on it, whether it's a business application, Skyrim, Oblivion, or ESO.

And of course, I wouldn't ever bother with a console anyway - never got into that. As far as QOL, at least on PC one has addons.... though some do choose not to use them - I however make full use of over 60 addons.

I am curious on this point, I have played games I.E. Rocket League/Fortnite and all purchases are shared across all platforms hmm

Except you don't buy fortnite, it's free, amd it's cross platform.

ESO is not cross platform, each server is separate from the other servers, each server has its own database. Each database has its own set of identifiers, many of those identifiers will exist on each of the six databases.

Thats why transfer is not offered, there is too much that could go wrong in the process.

For ESO to be cross platform, and even better to be able to log in on which ever platform you wanted with your accountz would require an entirely different architecture to what is currently in place.

Who knows, with the recoding of the architecture that is going on at the moment things may change in the future....

would be nice, I realize that a lot of the systems when built does not account for future advancements LOL
