Cant get multiple crimson oath motives? bug or new drops?

So me and some friends went for a vDC hm run, finished once got motifs all good
Reset ran again, got double drops from last boss but 0 motifs.
Ok swapped chars, nope still no motifs.
Are they account limited?

Can confirm this. For whatever reason (hopefully a bug), there is some sort of cooldown applied to this motifs drop.

Same. Did 5 times HM in a row. Tried even all secret bosses and on different toons. Only the first run dropped motif for the whole group and 0 motifs in all runs after that.

Same with my group as well, all got a motif on 1st HM run and nothing thereafter.

I've also heard from several people in my guild that they have not been getting a guaranteed motif drop from Dread Cellar Hard Mode.

@ZOS_GinaBruno can you please confirm whether this is intended behavior, so that people aren't wasting their time farming?

Wouldn't at all be surprised if they instituted the 20-hour timer like already exists on daily quests.

Also just experienced this. Whole group got a motif on first hm run, whole group didn't get a motif on the second hm run.

This sort of thing has happened with other dungeons the same day their motif goes on the crown store. This is the time when players will farm the motif most.

Is it a bug? I’m not so sure.

They did the same with motif drops from Blackwood delve and group boss dailies. Only one motif drop a day from dailies reward boxes, resets at 1 EST.

Guess this is the new standard.

In stead of posting bug reports on the forum, players now twitter to the devs directly.
In stead of the devs telling them to post in the bug report section, they answer them directly on twitter.

Since the forums are where Google is going to direct most players looking for answers, I think it's a shame that ZOS's communications team doesn't make more effort to announce it both places.

I don't mind people getting direct answers on Twitter.

I do mind when questions are answered on Twitter, but left unaddressed on the official forums.
