Hello everyone,
and merry Christmas to all who celebrates the tradition.

I’m almost a new player here and I bought some Crowns. Now I look in the store and somethings are not clear to me. You’ve probably written about it somewhere before so I apologize in repetition.
- Morrowind chapter is an integral part of The Elder Scrolls Online base game. Why is it in the Crown store?
- And second, the Imperial City DLC is free, what's the point of keeping it in the Guilds & Glory DLC Mega-Pack?

Thanks in advance for the explanation :)

The Imperial City DLC is free, but it's in the store if you want the race, a pledge of mara to marry someone, a mudcrab, a horse, and the ability to buy Imperial homes. Morrowind has its own collectibles as well.

Morrowind is there for players who didn't buy it during it's time as a chapter.

Although the Imperial City DLC is free, it is still a part of the Guilds & Glory pack. The DLC pack's price was reduced from 5.5k to 4k to reflect this change.

Some of us are just adamant about not having Imperial City DLC dungeons in our regular random rotation even though compared to other DLC dungeons are actually easier than most. I am one of those people, I'll only do them when on ESO+ sub (1 month at a time, 2-3 times a year) and prefer base game dungeons when the sub expires. If I pick up free in the crown store, I'm stuck with those 2 DLC dungeons in my random rotation forever.
