Companions disappearing....

Companion is level 20 and we have great Rapport.
Steps to reproduce
1. Starting in Deshann at the Clothing Station (Which is displaying a Woodworking Sign)
2. Summon a Companion and then head West until you hit a Mountain
3. Hugging the mountain head South towards the water - you will pass a single big mushroom on your left, then a tree with multiple trunks also on your left... once you pass between the tree and the mountain, turn around as you will see the Companion disappear like Kronos snapped his fingers.

... Looks to be some sort of invisible terrain 'wall' in the client maybe, i dunno. And for me, it happens with both 'Bastian' companion as well as my 2 daedric summoned PETS.
Obviously, the game-code is designed to auto-store (temporarily) companions/pets around WATER or other specific area types, but this particular circumstance seems to indeed be a BUG.

✭✭I have a similar issue with my twilight randomly despawning.
It was despawning right after summons, or after taking a few steps on many occasions.
I was alone, no enemies in area, no combat, remote locations on the map, far from towns or anything to interact with besides nodes to harvest.
This started a few days ago, I quit trying to keep her alive.The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.0 -
