Well after trying it for weeks the mag sorc just isn't viable as an option in this current version of Cyrodiil PVP. There is not enough damage possible (even with 2-damage 5-piece sets and no defensive sets) to kill the tanky stam-types roaming around. Stam characters get a lot of protection/survivability and are still able to do good damage. Mag types get low armor and health and die quickly when attacked by just about any type of stam toon. I know that I'm playing the mag sorc about as good as someone can but it's just not a fair fight. Currently using the holiday event to level a stam toon since ZOS wants everyone to play the same type of character and play the exact same way. In no-proc no-CP there are only a few sets of gear that are even viable if you want to be able to beat someone 1v1. So bottom line is that I won't have to worry about this skill not working because mag sorc doesn't work in no-proc Cyrodiil PVP anyway even with all skills working.
