That's the point of reading the quest text, it literally tells you what you're doing. However, if you fail to read and just mindlessly hand in quests or take them then that's on you, not ZOS.

Too much is being read into my post. I am not complaining. I am not asking for anything to be changed. I am merely making an observation about quests that don't make sense to me for this event.

This is true. We do not have to get into the quests but to see the light-hearted humor involved it helps to read it. But again, for many, it is only the tickets we are interested in.

And mudballs is the only "prank" quest, out of 9.

Of course, RNG makes sure that you only see the quests you don't like.

But yeah, the solution seems to be: walk past Breda and go to the "Old Life" quest guy. It counts for the tickets.

There may be 9 quests but I've only seen 3.

Which is why I said "Of course, RNG makes sure that you only see the quests you don't like."

Personally, out of two days (I did an Old Life quest the third day), I've gotten "donate to the Orphans" both times. It's not my least favorite of the quests, but it's certainly down the list.
(if I'd done a second quest today, it was the Khajit "pick locks" one. I've done the quests for several years now, so I don't feel the need to farm New Life boxes for the random rewards, so I'm only doing one a day for the tickets.)

This is my favourite event. The stories behind each quest are pretty interesting. Plus 3 tickets a day...bliss.

And the Old Life is interesting, seeing which spirits appear.
So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

“Saying bah, I don’t like the way other people celebrate this season. Every way but mine is wrong!” Is very Tamrielic. Are you Imperial or Altmer, by chance?

A few have mentioned other quests but the only ones I've seen so far are the mudballs, the dancing and the race... and I've checked both days so far on 3 different characters.

Altmer or dunmer I'd say. An imperial would be a lot more accepting of others.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!
