Xbox Series X patch install on Dec. 15th froze and never finished after multiple tries

The patch froze during install and never finished. I tried a few times yesterday from 2 different locations, both with hardwired fiber internet. I had to uninstall the game and install it again from scratch to get the game working again since it wouldn't start with a stuck update in process.

malistorr✭✭✭✭As I stated above I had to uninstall the whole game and reinstall and then it worked. Thanks for the reply. Not sure the cause of the freeze but an hour download later I was working again with a reinstall.0
