@ZOS_GinaBruno Just a fyi, since today's patch login has been spotty, often kicking to desktop while attempting to log in to char screen or into the game from char screen. Please pass it on. Thanks!
I haven't had any issues yet on Windows, aside from the initial lengthy login after downloading the patch. I cycled between all of my characters to get their crafting assistants' mails, and switched from PC EU to PC NA, without any troubles.
I haven't tried on my MacBook Air yet to see what happens, but in the past I've experienced ESO closing unexpectedly while trying to load characters or go back to the server selection screen to switch servers.
What I've noticed with both this patch and the previous one, and today it was PC EU although I also play on PC NA, is that while the first login after a patch always takes longer than normal to reach the character screen (doubtless due to additional post-patch operations running in the background), with these patches the login to character screen not only takes even longer but it also results in a kick-back to the launcher because on arrival at the character screen it instantly reports excess inactivity. In other words, it seems that the login is actually reaching the character screen before it appears on my screen, and by the time it does display it's logging me out for inactivity. Thereafter it logs into the character screen normally and the game runs smoothly as usual for me.
PC NA no steam here. First log in shortly after patch/maintenance finished timed out on the way to char selection. Second attempt worked fine. Several subsequent logins during the day have been fine. No kicks/disconnects while in game.
I have login issues as well on NA server. I cannot login at all at times and if I can login for a little bit; then I get kicked back to the login screen and have trouble logging back in.
As soon as I patched, just a few minutes ago, I had the new TOS Popup.
Scrolled down and accepted and reached login.
At login, I immediately got CPU racing. I figured ZOS patch had reset multi-core to ON but I couldn't exit to change.
Got to Load Screen and continued racing and no movement on the Ouroboros. Hard lock from there.
Tried a Ctr-Alt-Del to task Manager but all I could get was back to a full screen TOS still waiting to Accept.
Did a restart from another Ctr-Alt-Del and was able to get back in fully but still getting login load screen CPU racing even with Multi-core Render OFF.
Logged out and tried another after a few minutes.
Seems to have cleared now, no load racing and very quick login to character select.
I have experience long logging in times since the patch, long enough to be thrown out for 'inactivity' couple of times, and in the game itself an odd kind of minor lag in movement. FPS and latency seem to be the same as before the patch, but suddenly there is this lag with every movement characters take, no matter the surroundings. Same in cities with lot of players or in the emptiness of a countryside. Lowering settings has no impact. Doesn't appear to affect combat. Just the movement.
I have been unable to login all day today pc/NA. I logged in this morning as usual & all was fine until I was kicked from game during a mob fight, then was unable to log back from then. I get to character select no problem but from there get timed out while logging into game. Usually a 334 kicked from lobby error. I have tried all suggested fixes.
