Trying to Solo some Craglorn Bosses is hilarious (Skyreach Hold Mantikora)

Hmm I haven't actually done much content in Craglorn since the switch to One Tamriel, I stopped when I kept getting my butt kicked by one Delve that has a pack that summons a powerful Storm Atronach. It kept one shotting me halfway through the fight at VR16. Eh, I'll give it another go after Summerset comes out in a couple weeks, that way I'm CP750 for it.

I tried several times to defeat arkonos and keep dying. Unless you are a tank you can not survive a single swing. So when he swings dodge roll, then attack. You do need to have your help up when he drops his AOE. But hopefully you have him down enough so you can finish him before the AOE ends. Also remove the adds before attacking Arkonos.

He hit you once, you did'nt learn the 2nd time, 3rd is just too much. You still block with your face.

I soloed all Craglorn content many times, with different toons. The "group delves" are of varying difficulty, but only Zalgaz, Hyrcine and Kardala are a bit hard (the last one has those resurrected pesky kings, though...).
Skyreach is fun, definitely soloable.

the video only shows that you are a bad player, if you want to play solo content, you should build, equipped and play accordingly and not as if you want to break the next record on a dps puppet

I think it's hilarious that three times you just tried to fire off a simple DPS rotation without any reflection on how you might approach the fight differently.

Yeah, people practice rotation on dummies and then they expect that enemy will be behave like dummy

I destroyed this boss some time ago on stamina dk (when stamina dks were really poor dps), it was all about running and avoiding his attack.

This is the reason I never work with dummies, I learned a lot just by playing game and facing different eniemies and situations. You must to know your class and build to know exactly what to do in every situation. This is why often in PUG dungeons or trials I have good enoigh damage but also survability. I'm almost always on move, aware of soroundings, kiting bossess, etc. so when standing still players dies, I'm still alive.

We should have more challanges like this, then maybe players will learn how to fight

Well, hopefully they would not close this necro thread, nothing has change since it was created and it is quite interesting.

Yeah, Craglorn bosses are not so easy as some would think, but they could be overcome with some practice. In fact, they are great training ground for solo.

Personally, the most difficult Craglorn boss i have fought was last boss - Dryada or how they are calling her, surrounded by other minions. Took me few attempts to take her down. But i had melee build, with range it could be relatively easy.
