this is the main argument against everything on this forum. It's pitiful, but nothing we can do about it. People want to see cities crowded, even if they actually don't need it at all.redspecter23 wrote: »if it makes the cities look unpopulated as that seems to be the main argument against it

how is that? 99% players prefer to do quests solo anyway. Otherwise it's better to join social/RP guild to get way better experience than in zone chat.Parasaurolophus wrote: »overland would then completely die out.
It would be convenient, but convenient for me does not always translate into healthy for the game.

There is no point for me to have normal crafting stations in my homes if I need to port to a city to pick up writs and turn them in there.
If they would make it an crown item it would be only atractive for those people who have several characters and do writs with all of them each day.People who have only one character wouldnt spend crowns on some furniture they would barly use and still do their writs in towns.New players or the very casual ones would do their writs in towns. Those people who want to get ''seen'' by others would still do their writs in towns. Those people who would need a banker nearby would still do their writs in towns.
You have daily quest givers in towns.
You have guild traders in towns.
You have mages/fighters guilds in towns.
The argumentation of some people that towns would turn into ''ghost towns'' is in my honest opinion invalid.
It would be a convenience QoL improvement for those who value their time as loading into houses takes much less time for then loading into bigger cities.
Let alone in peak time places like Alinor or Rimmen are places I avoid at all cost.
