I have an NVidia graphics card, so I use the GeForce Experience game filter to bump up the color vibrance. I don't do anything else because that alone compensates for the washed out and brownish tinge everything has with vanilla settings.

Damn... Maybe I need to go and actually do this for my game.

I just updated my new setting after trying out the "Tone map" setting in Reshade. It turned out great IMO.
I don't know how to make a slider comparison but here is a couple of new screenshots I took.
The screenshots are taken in 4k resolution so you should view them in fullscreen. Open them in new tabs or something.
