[Spoilers] Elsweyr prologue and existing characters quest dialogue

Dear devs. If you do not let existing characters to play prologue events, maybe do not have NPCs tell us that our character did something that happened only in prologue?

When I was retrieving Dragonhorn from the last Dragonguard hideout, Zamarak compares it to one my character used in Star Haven Adeptorium.

It got me really confused, as I had no idea what he's referring to. I surely would remember seeing another Dragonhorn! So I was wondering if I missed some side-quest I was supposed to do and I wasted my time running around Star Haven wayshrine looking for it.

And only after I made my necro, I realised Zamarak was talking about something players character does in prologue.

Which felt doubly frustrating, as prologue itself (just as the one for Summerset!) would be the perfect entry point to expansion for existing characters as well - setting up the stage for Chapter's main quest and making it more immersive than just travelling to wayshrine.

So if you do not want to let us play that quest on main character, at least have a bit of decency not to taunt us with implications that our characters was there anyways.

Some of us are here for story first and foremost.

I just did that quest, he didn't make any indication that my character had used it, just that someone had used it. It was said in a way that felt like a player-character did but they didn't outright say it.

It definitely was not clear enough for someone with English as second language to parce. Enough to send me on a wild dragonhorn chase for a bit XD

I wads confused [as someone who does have English as a first language. I did the same thing, running off to Star Haven to see if there was a quest I'd missed. Very confusing.

Still a good idea though, that we all start a new chapter with the tutorial AND the prologue should lead to that.

I just did this quest on an old character that hadn't done the tutorial in Star Haven. This is what Zamarak said:

This definitely looks like an error. This character has not blown the Dragonhorn at Star Haven.

The end of 2021, and it's still not fixed or even acknowledged. A negligence to details like this is what ruin overall perception of the in-game world.

    [snip]

It would be nice if new content took into account things like my race, me being a vampire or not, being maxed out in relevant skill trees, or how much interaction i've had with specific characters BEFORE joining them in the newest missions.

I would have hoped being the supposed legend that our characters are or aren't, they would be more willing to use that in the dialog.

I'm hoping that this IS just an error but it seems to be one that happens more, lately.
