Critical strike %

Does anyone know how Crit% work. Do all the crit% effect buffs stack together and you get one big crit roll. Or do the buffs work separately and give you several small crit rolls.

If they did stack you can build up a massive crit% roll. Around 60% at least (sorcerer).

I'm not sure how "several small crit rolls" would even work. If an item or ability grants you increased critical strike, that affects your base stat for critical strike (for spells or weapons, depending on which one you have).
