Apex reward idea

I love mounts and pets the most. But also outfits makeup the silly emotes basically a lot they offer in the crown crates.
And obviously when I on rare ocassion, get a apex reward or radiant apex reward( never
) I am super thrilled.
Big is the disappointment if it is a mount that I will never use.
So it got me thinking what if when we win an apex or radiant apex reward we can choose which one we want.
Then everyone has a mount they like and it is fair because the drop rate is so low.
Anyone thinks this is a good idea or is this asked before and if so what was the reason for not doing it?

Ashryn✭✭✭✭✭Yes, its a good idea and, yes, its been asked before...but 'the powers that be' will never do it. They want you to gamble and continue to buy crates, hoping that the one you desire will be awarded. Their pocketbook trumps our desires!2
