The only difference this patch done, is putting crit cap at 125% what makes this set pretty much useless.

my trials group is running EC so people can drop other sources of crit, like backstabber. the set is far from useless.

Let me rephrase that: in optimized group, most magicka- based, sure, it can be useful.
For stamina groups, especially with Templars & NB, it is really easy get overkill.
