MEBengalsFan2001✭✭✭✭✭Size of the game download on consoles is driven by a few factors. The biggest factor is if you have an application/game opened and if you are playing a game that is online will greatly increase the download time and possible size of the data as more packets of the game has to be created and sent over to the console. If you want to speed up the process for PS4/PS5 and have PS+, simply start your game download, close all apps and put the system into hibernate mode; that is the quickest way to download games for PS4/PS5. Mine download completed quiet a while ago and I had my system in hibernate all night and morning until a few seconds ago when I check to see if the update has completed.
