Hi all ,
A question about ring of the wild hunt.
I finally have it , however i must admit that it doesnt feel faster when sprinting.
Does this 45% and 15% increase in combat only apply when you are walking and thus NOT sprinting ?
I currently have a fast build which has fiords and darloc brae which increases my sprint a lot + swift trait on 2 of my rings. But when i change one of the fiord rings i seem to be NOT faster with this mythic item.
Sure i lose 15% speint speed bonues from darlic brae, however i dont seem to gain 45% sprint bonus from ring of the wild hunt.
If its not meant for sprinting and being crazy fast … what is this ring then good for?

MisterKarnos✭✭✭Without knowing your entire setup its hard to tell how quickly you hit speed cap, its really ez this patch to go from 100 to 200, when we have stuff like Steed's Blessing (20%), Celerity (10%), major expedition (30%), sprint (40%).
With these CP and one speed buff we can already hit cap while sprinting without any swift trait or dedicated movement speed sets.0 -
belial5221_ESO✭✭✭✭✭Speed sets aren't needed anymore with the wild hunt ring around.with CP and skill passives,you can get close to 160%,and ring gets you to about 200%.And it don't show in adv stats,I think cause it's a temp stat,and not constant,as far as I can tell.0

oldbobdude✭✭✭✭✭I find a great increase in sprint speed and while swimming. I do not have other bonuses though. I wear mine while farming and rarely mount doing that activity anymore. ✭✭You can max out your speed, after which you will not see an increase. As I do not know what CP you may have assigned or which mundus you are using, IDK if you have achieved that point. But is isn't very hard to achieve anymore with the myriad of different ways to run/walk/sneak faster.
I can tell you though, that unless you are Argonian (and even maybe then), your swim speed is greatly increased.0 -
belial5221_ESO✭✭✭✭✭There's a 200% speed cap running,and 300% on horse,so if you already there,or close, there's probably no difference.You can use addon like ravspeed to see how fast you are,so you can see if you wasting CP/skill points,or gear on something you don't need.4

But just to clarify
The ring of wild hunt increases 45% of speed , but also when sprinting ? Or is it only walking that goes 45% faster and not the sprinting ?
I am currently at 176% with my 2 sets , however with my ring it decreases to 161 because i lose 15% sprint bonus of barloc0 -
eMKa8✭✭✭It was just that when i was wearing the mythic ring that then it would not add any % to my advanced stats of sprint …
So thats why i thought it didnt really do anything0 -
Naftal✭✭✭✭✭Wild hunt increases your speed by 45% out of combat while you move on foot. Sprint increases your speed by 40%. If you have 15% increased speed from anywhere, you are at the cap.0
