The update that nerfs Dark Convergence is finally coming to console tomorrow. From some of the responses of PC players, it looks promising, (unless those are the PC players who use the set, and want to downplay how broken the set still is.)

At any rate, assuming the set will be nerfed just enough, it won't change the fact that we had to deal with it in full force for the past few months. So! Here's a suggestion:

There is a famous gun in Destiny 2 called Telesto, which has broken the game on many occasions. But Bungie (the game developer) has always been able to quickly "lock" the weapon, so that no one could use it until it's patched.

Can we have something similar in ESO for the future? I feel like we can, considering they did something similar during the no-proc testing in Cyrodiil.

The only thing that makes the "nerf" of Dark Convergence a good move is that far fewer people run it now. But the set still does all the things it shouldn't, like pulling people off walls, through walls and off their sieges. Troll players are still using the set to grief other players and it's still spammed by ball groups to pull in solos'. It's also still pulling from way outside it's designated range.

Don't get your hopes up. So long as the free pull mechanic that doesn't even have to be aimed exists, the problems with the set will exist.

Telesto has achieved sentience and broke destiny 2 so horribly that it is making its way to other games and breaking them too? We are so ***.

If nothing else, that means the damage will be high. Always fun.

Good old telesto never fails to break something every season. I swear it is going to be the end game boss when destiny 2 is finally finished. It is the darkness......
