I nearly forgot about the login queues and laggy server. If the server isn't breaking down at the seams trying to load in 14 players in a zone then I think I might just cancel my ESO+ sub. We've got simple and consistent expectations here at PC/EU: if we don't get our regular injections of lag and server instability, are we even playing ESO anymore?

Lag is at its lowest during maintenance

Were the servers not moved since that post? Or did i imagine that.

It is prime in Europe now.

I just don't understand why maintanance takes so long.
HW needs maintanance of course. To check components, clean components, change what is broken, change configuration if necessary.
It could take couple of hours but today not a big deal IF backup servers are available.

It could be zero downtime (in reality switching to backup node takes couple of seconds).

The problem is with the "IF".
I have very bad feeling that there is nothing like full sized backup servers in ESO environment and performance tests are made on production environment and this is called "maintenance".

Well and what if performance tests don't pass ?
The standard procedure is to change configuration, load the program again and run next round of all the tests ?

It feels a bit like a gamble to me.

yes !!! What would ESO be without that EU specific minigames... will the servers be up, will I be able to finish that trial, when will Cyro crash... I mean all of this adds a lot of suspense and excitement to the game. And the best, it comes without any additional fees !!!

Oh yes dont even mention that or I will jump right into a vet dlc dungeon after maintenance is done and try out if we make it to the end or someone will crash while we try a trifecta run.
Trifecta is boring,making it to the end without crashing is the true endgame
