I think that ESO and Skyrim are two entirely separate things, developed by two separate teams, in two separate studios, and that game play features added by one does not suggest the possibility of similar features in the other.

They are correct that a different company works on Skyrim and any other single-player TES game. The second game Zos is working on is a new IP, not an existing one.
I don't know if you are comparing ESO Companions to the Skyrim faction of the same name, but I'm pretty sure they are completely different and unrelated concepts, they are a proper faction descendant from the followers of Ysgramor in Skyrim and just a synonym for "follower" in ESO I think.Thealteregoroman wrote: »We have companions in ESO now…
