Flavor Items

So does anyone else keep a random assortment of odds and ends in their inventory that may or may not have fallen out of someone's pockets? I love some of the items that you can find as Treasures in this game. Personally I keep a camping tent, a sleeping bag, a lute and a lucky senche claw in my bags. Anyone else keep flavor items on their characters like that? Or have a favorite treasure they keep?

I have a shivering cheese treasure/furniture item that is proudly displayed on a table in a home. I found it in a lockbox, and it was a golden item that I thought was pretty cool and surprised to get.

It seems far too valuable to carry around in my inventory in case I accidentally messed up and sold it to a merchant, but it definitely comes to mind as an item that I got attached to.

My master thief keeps a ruby from the Imperial Throne that she stole off of someone.

Varanis Arano still has several of the quests rewards she got during the Main Quest, mostly mementos of people who died helping her.

Carefully hides their ruby from the Ruby Throne, Haft of Sunder, and the crystal sweetroll they randomly found.

What? This one would never pick a friends pocket. What's that over there?

I have a guild tabard from one of the first great guilds I joined and which has sadly disbanded. Its not equippable any more but I won't part with it. Does that count?

And a bunch of 'old' provisioning items (eg old ribier grapes) that I kept finding in a container even after the items themselves were discontinued.

Edit - misread the question! These aren't from people's pockets :(

I'll save little treasure items on occasion but eventually I'll have an inventory crisis and not really look at what I'm selling off and there goes sentimentality. :/

Not from anyone’s pockets, but I do keep a collection of laundered clothing items stolen from containers and from the Blackwood event coffers, a Stuffed Cuddly Hopper. :relaxed:

If you go to cyrodiil you will see a lot of this pocket loot happening linked in chat as a form of dialog . Typically oddly named fenced items that get pretty darn funny in context.

    Not a pocket drop, but...

I've kept the trophy of the Crab-Slaughter-Crane (Rare Purple Fish) from Wrothgar from when it first released.

It was very tricky to catch back then, took a group of us a while to sort it out and catch it.

It's a prize my main can't seem to part with.

    A True Trophy Fish.

(Wish they'd make a 3D model of it that we could buy from an achievement vendor, so we could put it in our houses)

Also has clothes, mostly for marking new characters as not in gear.
Add some cooler treasures like an erotic story book who includes queen Ayrenn.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I keep in my coffins some of extraordinary purple treasures which I've come across. Things like Bolt of the Numidium and such! How on earth can I sell them?

I also have a small collection of erotic-themed treasures, like book of erotic stories involving Queen Ayrenn (mentioned above), argonian kamasutra, portrait of a naked Nord, etc. ;)

On my character I keep a wedding ring made by my friend's character that started the game with me back in 2014. He left the game 5 years ago, but will always live in my heart.

I'd really prefer many of these "treasures" to become furnishings to become useful.
of course, we have legerdemain 20+ clothing items, some furnishings, recipes, but still moar stealabe furnishings would be nice.

Some of these treasures would be great for housing. It's always disappointing when I figure out its just a treasure I can't display anywhere.

I allow my main a few slots for stolen treasures to keep. I currently have an Aldmeri Dominion Banner (For the Queen!!), a stuffed centipede with googly eyes, a pink and green finger trap and, one of my most prized and longest kept possessions, a piece of Volendrung's handle. I do enjoy linking the latter two in Cyrodiil zc every once in a while 😁

I like collecting weird treasures. Usually only if it feels like something that character would keep. My tank has a medical kit, cough syrup, silk sheet. My necro lich has a daedric ritual skull, and my dragon slayer has a bunch of dragon sculptures and paperweights.

Not only of "freed" items a collector lives, hehe.

I have some from quest rewards like "The Scarlet Necklace", "Black Diamond Pendant", "The Prophet's Staff" (guess that's the name) I pushed to be at L50, my first Master's Sword I kept as a humble homage to The Legend of Zelda as well as one from a not-so-obvious quest in... Stonefalls, I think, in which someone had a fetish of being slapped by a Twilight Matriarch (iirc).

I also have items we use during quests but aren't quest items per se, like Rajhin's Book of Riddles, as well as others I kept only because of the 5th grade in me, like The Book of Erotic Stories and items that tell us the "hobbies" of the Divines:

    (screenshot from TTC)

But one that I do like because of my time in Skyrim is the Shard of the Ideal Masters. Really wanted that one to become a piece of furniture!

I may or may not have storage chests dedicated to green, blue, blue 2, and purple contraband.
