Pack Leader's Bone Broth is weak and doesn't really ease transformation.

It says that this drink eases your transformation, but on top of your werewolf passives, i think this drink only gives you and extra 1 or 2 seconds of werewolf time.

I wrote an essay before posting this with some tests I did to provide some sort of "proof", but the tests were done standing still etc. I could see people saying that 2 seconds is alot when you're fighting and getting more time from other passives. That on top of other things like feeding and being in groups with other werewolves etc etc.

I get that it's only a drink, but still, I think Pack Leader's Bone Broth is rather weak and could do with a little buff to how much it eases transformation, because I really struggle to notice the "ease transformation" benefit from it. It feels like it does nothing.

Don’t they mean it reduces the cost of the transformation? Or did I misremember that?

I think it just lowers the ultimate cost by like 5%.

    The wording is ambiguous.

"Increase Max Stamina by 4260 and Max Health by 5051 for 2 hours
If you are a werewolf, the rich marrow will also slightly ease your transformation.
These effects are scaled based on your level. (6s cooldown)"

I assume from reading this that it means that "while you are a werewolf", it will ease your transformation.

It reduces the ultimate cost of the transformation. The duration of the transformation remains unchanged.

That's really really rubbish. 282 pre broth, 267 post. My bad for misunderstanding, but still, only a 15 reduced cost for werewolf ult. I feel a bit crushed because I misunderstood and have no leg to stand on now.

Perhaps this drink could be buffed to add more duration too, because once you transform, the reduced cost of transformation becomes null and void. I feel like i should be able to benefit from this while in werewolf form too.

“If” does not mean “while” here. The conditional is present because some players are not werewolves at all (vampire or mortal), and they can still use the consumable and get the max resources. They will only benefit from the “ease of transformation” (werewolf ult cost reduction) if they are a werewolf. Otherwise that effect is not applicable.

I agree with you whole heartedly. I just misunderstood first if all. Do you think players should be able to benefit from this whilst they are in werewolf form though?

Could you see them adding a buff to this drink to increase duration, OR, add new food recipe like "Werewolf Blood Feast" made with red meat, bone, tainted blood and frost mirriam, which is solely for increasing werewolf form duration and increasing max health and max stamina. Or replace Tainted Blood with Bloodscent Dew

Why they don't turn Vampire/Werewolves with permanent transformations into sub-classes is beyond me.

Just quick slot another drink or food. Swap to it after transformation

Maybe, we did see ZOS buff the Shapeshifter's Chain on the Blackwood PTS since the magicka, health, and stamina bonus was very low. However, keep in mind the Bone Broth is still giving the player Max Stamina and Health meaning it's still very nice for a werewolf to have. My werewolf build uses the Sugar Skulls though because while the health and stamina given might be less the extra magicka and HP regen of the Sugar Skulls winds up being better. You're going to be spending a lot of time in that ultimate once you cast it.

Personly I think there should be a food only for werewolves and vampires that would boost their core strengths.

    Like Witchmother's Brew:

    3094 health
    2856 mag
    315 mag recovery

and then add: Reduce the cost of your vampire abilities by 10%

Can do the same for Stam with werewolves but the food should feel special and useful as vamp/werewolf is already a gimmick.
