If their only function was to repeat songs indefinitely, I wouldn't pay premium for it, no. If they had player interaction and dialogue options to select songs, with additional presentation of upcoming song for any eventual audience, I might consider.

I'm thinking, "please sing for us/have a break" can both be dialogue options, and there can be a pathing node where they are bound to perform, so that you can have dialogue while they are out walking around and will default back to their "performance" node when asked to.
