Bonfire Wicker-Steed mount, please don't make it cost 600+ gems

There's this tread or mindset that these are radiant apex quality and should get a radiant apex price (or at least close to it)

My opinion is that these are at best, apex quality, and should therefore get around the apex price (400-500 tops)

I bought my Dro-M'athra senche for 5k crowns, and these new mounts are 3-5x that price.

Didn't that mount cost 100 gems at one point?

Since the Icereach Wicker-Steed mount was 500 gems last year, this one is basically the same only adding fire to it you can expect it to be 600 or 700 gems like the Bloodroot wildhunt senche.

I do expect it to be some outrageous price like 800, otherwise I wouldn't have a problem.

If you ask me 600 is already a lot, however if you really want it you can unlock it with endeavours if you have enough of them.

I fully believe that they will keep raising the endeavor cost of apex mounts to always be out of range. I haven't missed a single day/week of any endeavor whatsoever, and I'm still nowhere near the apex prices. It's just a loophole with the whole Microsoft thing. The prices of everything are getting worse every year.

You mean the Radiant apex prices right? Because I missed one or 2 days of seals and have over 10k of them close to 1k I belive.Apex mounts cost 8k so if you didnt miss any day you should have more then enough to get an apex.

? I just checked in game and I got 9945 seals and I missed out 2 days I think,so yea close to 10k,wich 8k is an apex amount and would have enough to unlock one of them, wich was my point.
And I dont have multiple accounts.

    Well its 600 gems.

5k crowns costs around $40 bucks, and a 15 pack of crates yields around 100-200 gems. Assuming a best case scenario where you've already gotten most things you want from the crates, 600 gems would cost you 3 of those packs or $120 bucks. Worst case it'd take 6 packs and $240 bucks.

Aside from people who use gold or endeavors, is $120-$240 for a horse directed at anyone who's not a whale?

That is why they create these nested currency to obfuscate the actual cost. It's very effective.

As to endeavors, I haven't missed a day and am at 10,440. I am hoping to have 16,000 in time to buy one of the celestial apex mounts that will be in the next crate season at the end of the year, should have enough before they leave the store.

Well I dunno what to say on that other then it was expected to be that high as every other gem exclusive mount is.
I personally don't feel the need of collecting every single mount in this game and I usually only get the ones I really like.
Now it being little easier for those who really want such mount can unlock for seals. No need to spend real life money.

Whales keep paying these prices so corporations keep increasing them. You don't fight the fire of greed by throwing paper at it.

I knew they were gonna do 600+ and I knew there was nothing they would change.

But I guess I wanted to maybe just make an opinion known that was a pretty bad direction for the game to be heading in when any new or itneresting skin/mount/costume would now cost more than most people spend on groceries for a week.

A week? Try more than most people spend on groceries in a MONTH.

The national food stamp allotment for a month is around $230. Even people with McJobs who don't qualify for that aren't spending much more. I personally survive on less than $230 a month in groceries for an individual, and I eat all organic.

This sends a clear message that nice things in this game are basically only for rich people. It is up to the average customer to decide to what extent they wish to support that business model.

The mount looks ugly in any case, so no miss for me. You can buy it with endeavors if you saved them.

Strongly disagree. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite mounts.

It matches the Glenmoril Wyrd style (Noxophilic Black) with Visage of Gohlla (Boethiah Gray).

The neutral exterior with red inner glow and fire particle effects look great.

I agree with the original poster, with little time to buy this item, I only have 200, how am I to make 400 more if the crown crates you have in there right now are just plain stupid.

    There, I said it.

    Yeah. >.<

Plus, many of the buyers aren't whales so much as they're taken in by FOMO/shiny. I run across a number who don't have extensive savings.

If you have been watching the Twitch events and have your accounts linked you will always get the free crates. You get gems from those as well. It might not be a lot but I've already gotten 150+ gems from the twitch crates alone.
