Stuff seems to happen disproportionate on PC EU... In my observation.
Its kinda noticable... In my opinion.
Or maybe you are upgrading it.. What do I know? I'm just a paying customer.

✭✭✭I’ve recently started playing quite a bit on PC EU. I experience multiple hard CTDs daily. I would have assumed a CTD like that was always a client issue, but I very rarely have a CTD while playing on PC NA. Exact same computer, same game, same internet connection. I’m really not sure what is going on with the EU servers.5 -

✭Another good question is, who provides the EU servers for ZOS? They seem to be incapable of holding up their end of the bargain. It is not a exactly a secret at this point that EU servers eclipse NA servers in terms of down times. We don't have cold data on server populations, but I play on both and both seem teeming with player activity. But EU seems to suffer outages on a scale unparalleled. If it were up to me, I would not extend any contracts my company has with such a host.2 -

Onigar✭✭✭Just to make everyone happy, the current PC EU hardware issue maintenance increases the gearing on the hamster wheels, everything will be much smoother and faster now, of course... I guess

✭I’ve recently started playing quite a bit on PC EU. I experience multiple hard CTDs daily. I’m really not sure what is going on with the EU servers.
CTDs can come from connection based software, its just rare because in order for it to happen it would require the data to stall to such an frustratingly low pace that the client just seizes up and then the computer knows whats happening and doesn't know what to do and so just shuts it down.
Online games (where you can always see other people) require a constant stream of data back and forth to render characters, models and then actions and the calculations required for each action (interaction) and animations and so forth its all connected so when that stops, the game essentially breaks. There are so many things going on in the background to what you see that its somewhat hard to imagine/comprehend. So when that goes belly up it will cause problems, sometimes its CTDs other times its glitches occurring or bugs that just go on repeat and a ton more and sometimes the games stream so much data that they burn out your GPU. *Laughs in new world*
I am always somewhat forgiving when things like that happen because its not a quick fix for the devs, long pre-existing problems that never get fixed? Ehhh then I am a little more frustrated with them.Ah, e-communities - the "pinnacle" of the internet............yeah, right.0 -

That is funny in an ironic way to myself.
Dont upgrade the hamsters, number of hamsters etc..
Just change the drive train to squeeze enough power to keep the servers alive.

If they are running near 10 year old hardware I suspect it'll be an enforced upgrade fairly soon because the components are going to curl up and die ever more often so necessity will solve it 8)

How often did the server go down today? Three times? I didn't exactly play other than doing all my endeavors during the 15minutes I had before the 2nd shutdown, so I might have missed some.This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.0 -
