I have been unable to access my account for 3 days now. I've submitted a ticket and I was told through a PM from @ZOS_TrishM that an agent responded to my ticket number 211101-005535 at 5 pm on the 2nd of November. I have NOT received any emails whatsoever from anyone at ZOS. She said that I should try checking the "my support" section of the help.elderscollsonline.com to check the status of the ticket. Well, I can't log into my support for the same reason I can't log in to the game or into my account page. It does not recognize the login or says the account is suspended. I just want to be able to play my game people. 7 years I've been playing this game and never had an issue quite like this. Is it so damn hard for someone to reach out via e-mail or a telephone call to tell me what the heck is going on and how the heck do I fix it? All the damn money I've spent on this game and the thousands of hours you'd think I at least deserve a little courtesy.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_TrishM @ZOS_Kevin

It would seem that Customer Support did reach out with a reply to the ticket number provided here. Please be sure to follow what ever steps have been provided. Once the steps have been followed, be sure to reply to their email and let them know.

@ZOS_GregoryV Well, if they reached out they did it to the wrong e-mail. I have not received anything from ZOS, if I had, I would be more than happy to follow any steps they'd like me to. It's not in my inbox, it's not in my spam folder. Would you like me to message you privately to show you my e-mail address and contact info so that you can compare it to what they are saying they sent it to?
  • ZOS_GregoryV
When Customer Support replies, it is to the email that was used to submit the support ticket. If you are not seeing the email from support, we would recommend checking all filters (including spam) as well as using the search feature.

Well, I just got an e-mail notifying me that you answered this message and this is the same email that I filed the report with, so I don't know where the disconnect is. Believe me, I have checked every folder there is, spam or otherwise. My only guess is that they misspelled the e-mail address or something. Obviously, the email works because I just got the one telling me you responded here, can we please get them to resend it and verify the email address this time? This should not be this hard...I just want to get my account back up and running. I don't even know why it was taken down, so as you can imagine it is very frustrating when I can't speak to anyone who can tell me why my account is suspended and what I have to do to fix it.

Day 4 has arrived with no ESO in sight
Please oh please won't you help with my plight
My days are sad and filled with gloom
If I don't play soon my wife will hand me a broom
They've fixed your problem, or so they say
But I've checked my e-mail, no message has come my way
My characters miss me, with no one to guide them
Daily writs go undone, no companion to chide them
I beg on my knees, head low to the ground
Send me an email or make my phone chirp a sound
A solution I seek, to set me free
ZOS person with answers, be a hero to me

D: You really must hate cleaning.
Jokes aside hope you get your issue fixed soon and you will be able to play again.

    ESO plus status: Cancelled
    ESO currently uninstalled.

It took me a week to get my account back. You have my empathy. I thought they would improve ban procedures...but looks not.

Have you tried Twitter suggestion? Have you directly mailed a community manger to ask them confirm it's right email you are looking at?

What response have you gotten from them exactly?

Have you did a search in email for eso, Bethesda, support?

I have indeed. I went through my e-mail line by line, checked spam, did a search, etc. The only mail I have from them was 4 days ago telling me that my ESO Plus has been canceled (which I still have several months on since I pay in 6 month increments). Here in the forums they are saying that customer service already reached out with instructions to that ticket number, but when I told them I haven't received anything and maybe they could double check the email they sent it too...I've heard nothing back. I get emails just fine when someone posts a response here, so my only guess is that the customer service who handled my ticket is sending it to the wrong email or something. I tried tweeting Gina on twitter, but haven't heard anything back yet.

My apologies but consumer service Is poor here and convoluted. So please work under that understanding.

Just saying something in forums doesn't work. Go to idk @ZOS_JessicaFolsom page and send a mail not a posting. Asking to confirm that ticket is with corresponding exact email address.

    Question 2?

Have you logged into Bethesda account? You should be able to ask them on ticket. They respond within the day.

    Question 3

Have you tried Twitter? I Know it's wierd, but it's what everyone does now.

    Question 2

Just be an jerk and create a new ticket on random game asking about your account recovery ticket for eso.

As I said consumer service is poor. Your ticket moves to from Bethesda to Elder scrolls Online. Which you can not login to see anymore? Makes horrible sense right?

I ask myself why would zos ban account services and not just game services.

Look about there's a very active Twitter for Bethseda. Be nice and that guy or gal is awesome to respond usually telling you where ticket is in process.

Vast amounts of spam (and not spam) email gets filtered by internet providers and services like gmail. What you see in your spam fiolder is usually only the tiny subset that they score as "probably spam but ....".

If you are unfortunate to get a ticket with a code in it or something that happens to randomly look like a spam keyword you'll never see it even if you search your spam. I once got sent an amazon gift voucher that happened to have V1AGR.. in the code. That took some sorting out 8)

Otherwise unfortunately the standard large company approach applies - as they never employ enough support staff you have to be sufficiently persistent that it's cheaper to fix your problem than ignore it and the support folks can't get rid of you. At least they are now owned by Microsoft so you can publically embarass even more twitter accounts ;)

With no answer to my queries on the horizon
My wife's voice begins to sound like Verizon
"Can you hear me now" she exclaims
"Now that you're done with your silly games"
They don't want you anymore in their magical little world
It's time that you grow up and realized that you've been hurled
Tumbling down the path of reality
Your body flailing against the walls of idiosyncrasy
The bruises you acquirer serve as reminders of your past
Of times when you fought dragons, demons, and rats
But now you fight something more sinister
A wife with an agenda she's anxious to administer
You are becoming a slave, forgotten by those for whom you once fought.
A suspension has caused the death of a 7-year streak
Millions of gold lost, and time with no meaning
For what good is 7 years of play if you can't get a single person in your time of need to just say: "Hey"?

So the loneliness sets in, the broom is in my hand.
The cat boxes are full and need to be cleaned with fresh sand.
Soon the yard will need to be mowed and perhaps fertilized too
It is the fall months that have descended on me and you
I will cling to hope that my hero will arrive
And pull me from the clutches of my slave-driving wife
Setting me free to once again roam the forests of Blackwood
To gallop into battle on the backs of beasts to slay our foes as we should
Take me there oh Great Zos Hero, set me free from my morbid life
Release me from the bounds of my forum prison
Let once again the great wolf pursue his foes blood driven
    FREEDOM! FREEDOM!!! FREEEEEEEDOOOOOOOM!!!!!

Someone tell me everything is going to be alright. Make me believe that someday I'll be able to see my character's scowling faces again. That I'll be able to stroll through the empty halls of the many homes that I bought needlessly. That I will once again be able to purchase untold numbers of crates in search of Radiant Apex mounts to compensate for my lack of a huge PVP presence.

    Maybe try submitting another ticket...

Also, maybe the email address that is linked to your account doesn't match the one you provided for the support request?

I've twittered, the email is the same I've used for years and years. In fact, I get emails from the forums on it whenever someone responds to this thread. I really don't understand why it's so difficult for someone from Customer Service to just reach out to me. Tell me something other than WE ALREADY RESPONDED, when obviously that is not working for some reason. Imagine that it was your account that this happened to...you would want someone to tell you what was going on... Instead, I have to sit here in the forums making silly poems and trying to flick my boogers at the little ESO ring next to my user name. Haven't managed to get one in there yet...

A kind soul by the name of ZOS_Billie was kind enough to relay some info that is still playing hookie from my mailbox. Apparently my significant other did not recognize a transaction for 21000 crowns and disputed the charge...this being back in September. Well just recently the bank yanked those golden coins from the clutches of the evil Bethesda goblins and they were none too happy about it! So, they cast a curse upon my hapless characters, dooming them to an eternity of solitude until said gold is returned to the goblin's greedy claws. I've sent my faithful werewolves to rip the bankers and my foul wife to shreds and have them send the gold back to where it belongs. If the goblins would simply open up their billing to me I'd happily slap some coinage in their hands immediately to remedy the situation, but alas I don't know how to get them to do that. So I guess I have to wait for my faithful wolves to show up with whatever body part the bankers happened to be carrying the gold in. At least now I know... So, I know the witch's festival is over, but who wants to watch me burn a witch!! Speaking of which, where did my wife run off to???

Well.... at least you know. Good job @ZOS_BillE !

Yes, almost every game company will get very unhappy about chargebacks. Please don't dismember your wife though - just make sure you remember to tell her the next time....

And this is why all my crown buying sprees go through paypal instead of either bank - because only I mess with paypal, so husband can't diddle with my purchases! Though I do tell him when I buy crowns or renew my accounts for a year....

To make matters worse, I also found out why I have not been receiving any e-mails from customer service. Apparently, AT&T has some ongoing issues with both Bethesda and Ubisoft where e-mails from their customer service IPs have been blacklisted. They never even make it to my inbox because they are automatically returned. I contacted AT&T and they said it is a known issue, but the only way they can fix it is if Bethesda contacts them and requests to be removed from their blocked list through the AT&T Postmaster at abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net That is the only way to get themselves off the e-mail block list. Guess in the meantime I'm going to change my user e-mail to a google account...now if I could only log in to do it..

This is exactly why I quit AT&T years back - at that time (2013) it was Trion Games they were blocking, and I was having so much trouble with getting emails I needed that I finally threw up my hands and went completely to gmail. Besides, once I'd done that, it developed that gmail was an absolutely wonderful spam trap, so I've never left!
