PvE Nightblade: Would daggers on both bars work?

I've just returned to the game after being away for over a year and am now trying to rebuild my character. I play a Nightblade and was previously running Daggers + Bow. I had my daggers setup for single target and my bow as AoE. What I'm considering now though is to still keep my daggers as single target, but perhaps swapping out the bow for daggers as well, which would have an AoE setup.
So basically I'd have 2 sets of daggers, with one hotbar as single target skills, and the other hotbar as AoE skills. Would this work, or would I be better off sticking with bow as my 2nd weapon?

✭✭You can make it work. It works best if you have the blackrose prison dual wield set to use on your back bar which procs a 6% damage boost when you deal damage with blade cloak. Blade cloak also takes the place of volley on your backbar to proc weapon damage enchants.
You can do whatever you want but I wouldn't recommend having an aoe bar and a single target bar. I would try your front bar with instant damage abilities for both single target and aoe... so you might want to put surprise attack and whirling blades here. You can then use your back bar daggers for buffs and damage over time. That way you can apply your buffs and dots and then switch to front bar for dealing big damage.2 -

✭✭✭✭✭With BRP duals it would be pretty good option overall, also path and shade are wpd scaling skills also now so you will have some things to have fun with for sure.2 -

✭✭Backbar tends to be skills that last longer, so it's more about being a DoT or a buff than how many targets are involved.
AOEs could be anywhere, but you'd tend to put long lasting ones on the back since you won't spam them.PC NA1
