Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 8, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

Bring race perks in line with the direction of the game now...

Much like the sets, where an item gives + to weapon attack, it now gives + to spell damage. If a race gets + to Magika let the it also add + to Sta. With the Armory system, if you want people buying more slots, open up more ways to play on each the races. It does not have to be optimal but give something that lends to different types on play.

They recently did a racial overhaul. Remember how fun that was? With that ongoing, belabored discussion/in-fighting thread that was held aloft, bump after gratuitous bump, for months?

    No thanks.

While I don't necessarily agree with some of the racial changes that did occur, people have (mostly) gotten used to it and adjusted. That includes builds, sets, and golding gear for the min/maxers who want to take advantage of every percentage they can squeak out of their characters.

Tossing that salad again would not be a fun ride.

    NerfAS and Shill ruins everything

Skinny-meta-fake, graded D, and can’t explain the law of diminishing marginal returns.

I won’t post that Wes, I’ll get [snipped] for the last time

All the racial passives that give weapon or spell damage now give both AFAIK and have for a while.
Sets did not have max stat or recovery bonuses changed to give both generally (there are specific exceptions), which is consistent with racial passives also.

Yes but for instance the Breton is not a good option for Sta build and they dont need to be as good as say playing an Orc. But the passive that lowers the cost of Magika skills, could also do the same for Sta skills.

Bretons have a culture of magic, its part of their upbringing, in the same way Redguards are noted for being some of the most renowned warriors in Tamriel. It would make no sense for Bretons to also have a reduction on stamina cost, in the same way it would make no sense for redguards to have magica cost reduction.

The racials, for the most part, are based on the lore of that group of people.

Sure... but ESO has grown in the game itself. In the item sets they are making it easier to mix and match sets with the current changes. Now we have the Armory system encouraging us to play more builds on one char. Is it so far out of lore that Bretons dont have great archers? In step with the other changes, IMO this should change as well.

I can buy 8 Armory slots, on my Breton, for what? I cant think up a reason to spend the crowns to make 8 Magika builds. IMO Zeni should do the same think to race passives as they did to the item sets.
