Game changes resolution on its own after closing sometimes

Currently, I'm using the multithreading beta, if that is a consideration.
The game infrequently decides to change its resolution without any relevant interaction from me, between launches. It's rather aggravating, as it moves my addons' positions offscreen sometimes. plus i can't even read what people are saying in chat. Then I have to go in and revert the usersettings change the game made without permission. Apparently, this has been happening to others in my guilds as well.
normally, the values in usersettings are these:
SET WindowedHeight "760"
SET WindowedWidth "1358"
sometimes it changes to these:
SET WindowedHeight "688"
SET WindowedWidth "1286"
Does anyone have a solution? I am currently trying with readonly set on the file...but will the game overwrite that?
