I too got it on the first go. Done the two CoA dungeons like 100 times in the last 6 months.

I've tried to run three random normals this morning and each time I got Arx and a group that was like "lf Medusa lightning staff run to boss" and sprinted through the dungeon to only kill the necessary bosses. I don't care if we zoom through and skip adds but I want to kill all the bosses because I want to actually fill out my collections. Guess I will have to do premades, sigh.

I've noticed a couple issues with the system.

First, the possibility of getting jewellery that you already have versus a weapon you don't have from the last boss of a dungeon.

Second, the possibility of getting a named item, a weapon, for example, that you already have collected versus getting a weapon you need. Just to test this, I did a couple runs of Arx Corinium right after the patch hit and I got Fang of the Lamia Queen twice instead of any other weapons I needed.

Third, there seems to be a chance to get a weapon you already own. Not even counting named items. For example, I got the Battle Axe of Prayer some time ago.



Then I decided to go in and farm the remaining pieces of various dungeons, I got the same item twice in a row, along with items that were part of a completed set.


In theory, or the way it was marketed, I should have only been able to get the two remaining items in the last set. And before anyone asks: I collected the Battle Axe months ago, so it wasn't a matter of just not binding the item. Something seems a little fishy here.

It has issues, but it's still much better than it was.

I did nVoM. Dropped Restoration staff of the Worm Cult on last boss, even when I'm missing several other Worm weapons. Altough, the sets are not named the same way in the stickerbook as the actual drops from the dungeon. Stickerbook says Restoration staff of the Worm (or other way around, cant remember, ie; dungeon drop Restoration staff of the Worm, while Stickerbook says Restoration staff of the Worm Cult).

Ohhh thats very interesting. Maybe thats a thing to look at. Because i also got an example with Wormcult.

Was missing one item of the dungeon, the rattlecage axe. run with a mate after patch, and we both got the wormcult icestaff (which i already collected a long time ago).
deceided to run again, and this time i got the missing axe.

Maybe there is something off with the naming of some sets, or if you collected "named items" in the past, the stickerbook doesnt really noticed it in the background so it can drop in the regular form again.

That and several other original sets from launch were renamed long ago and I have versions of both the old and new names of these sets still, including Worm Cult. In fact, some have different motif styles.

I was in nMol a dlc dungeon and got a double piece while my group member got a piece I didn't have.

It's not just legacy sets.
