CP: 873 |CURRENTLY: Slowly dipping my toes into PVP while helping my SO level her first few toons. (Edited 8/23/2023) PLAYED SINCE: PC/Mac beta, then February 7, 2014 (PC) before moving to PS4 NA from July 28, 2015 where I’ve remained.
Got kicked while in Blackmoor, system said I had to wait in the queue for 4min 31 sec.
After 5 min had elapsed, the timer hadn't gone down, so I closed the game and tried restarting. That led to a 31 min wait in queue.
Closing a 2nd time and restarting has resulted in "internal error, please contact customer support".
Now I'm seeing a "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable" message on this server. Some serious network outage must have impacted ZOS servers; possibly a DDoS attack (pure speculation at this time).
It certainly doesn't help their case when they are trying to compete against the likes of New World for customers, or when they try to get people to subscribe to ESO+ through the free trial. If this is what we can expect going forward, then they will lose customers. Let's hope this is a one-off that doesn't lead to a trend.
I'm sure Zos is scrambling to get things fixed, but it would be nice if they could let us know what is going on. Trying to log back in at the moment is useless because you just get kicked offline again at the end of the que. I've tried it multiple times on two different accounts. Hopefully they will get this issue resolved soon before everyone leaves for New World
