Are there many players playing PvP on PTS mainly?
I haven't actually tried but given that there are free mats, crystals and recipes and maybe all sets are unlocked? Doesn't that mean PvP is balanced there since everyone can just pick their golden gears and go? And no more grinding?

Elo106✭✭✭✭✭Ive tested some stuff dueling their and even though it was just us 2 there the lag was horrendous, worse than prime time Gray Host.
PvP not being balanced is not about the difficulty getting a certain set or skill its about class imbalances and certain sets being over tuned, everyone running the same broken set on one of the paid classes doesnt make it balanced2 -

yes and thats going to take a long time until it gets nerfed as per usual, that build also works on other classes so everyone can, and probably will run it.0
