When the Dragon breaks, the linear flow of time stops. It's utterly incomprehensible and not a fun time. It's also not really related to time travel - people from the Middle Dawn didn't suddenly pop up everywhen else throughout Tamriel far as I know.
I don't think that's what mainline means. Just because there are only 5 main TES games to date doesn't mean the others aren't important.Except that ESO is a mainline TES game.

Afterwards, time is mended thus that conflicting accounts and events can all be true.I don't think that's what mainline means. Just because there are only 5 main TES games to date doesn't mean the others aren't important.Except that ESO is a mainline TES game.
There is no other non-canon "timeline" for Elder Scrolls, and no deviation in canonicity among any Elder Scrolls games - including Blades, Legends, Shadowkey, Battlespire, etc. If you call all of these mainline, then the word has no meaning.JJOtterBear wrote: »When the Dragon breaks, the linear flow of time stops. ESO is part of the main canon timeline. Confirmed by pretty much everyone that has authority to do so.
Would not surprise me if they include a bunch of Easter eggs related to ESO in Elder scrolls 6.

And recorded in history to. People assume it's some kind of time travel thing, but it's not.
