PTS Patch Notes v7.2.4

The Elder Scrolls Online v7.2.4 is the final incremental patch before the Deadlands DLC launches on PC/Mac/Stadia on November 1. Included are several additional fixes to Deadlands quests and content, a few adjustments to the items Stormfist and Hexos Ward, and a number of other fixes across the game. The size of this patch is approximately 157MB.

Blackwood merchants will now tell you when you’re missing the Blackwood Pathfinder Achievement, which is necessary to purchase the Antiquity Lead for the Blackwood map.

Furnishings

The new Fargrave container plants now look more natural when lit from various angles.

General

Fixed a number of placement issues for various NPCs and monsters found throughout the Deadlands zone.
Fixed an issue where several NPCs had mismatched appearances.
Updated several Daedra monsters to use correct face effects.

General

Fixed a number of quest assist issues throughout the zone.
Fixed an issue where the Portal to Fargrave would sometimes not work.
Fixed a number of issues with voiceover timing or audio levels.
Fixed an area where your character could fall into a hole in the Blood Pit and never escape
The Stablemaster in Wretched Spire once again offers mount.
Fixed an issue where you could discover the Forgotten Feretory from very far away.
Fixed an issue in Brandfire Reformatory where certain locations wouldn’t allow you to revive in place.
Fargrave’s Enchanting Shop have been served Imperial Court Documents and been forced to change their name so it doesn’t mimic Leyawiin’s own Enchanting Shop.
Removed a number of ambient bubbles and splashing from some sulfur pools to avoid confusion with fishing locations.
The World Event portals inside the Deadlands will no longer send you into the “Deadlands” but rather the Atoll of Immolation.

Delves

False Martyrs’ Folly
- This delve now has searchable bookshelves.
- Added an in-game map for this delve.

Quests

Against All Hope:
- Fixed an issue with one of the puzzles on this quest that was facing incorrectly.
- Fixed an issue where grouped players who were not on the quest could not follow groupmates through one of the portals.
- Fixed an issue where a quest item could vanish upon relogging.
- The spell Catalyst now knocks your character back if you are too close when it falls.
Born of Grief: Fixed an issue with a follower NPC who could get stuck and never respawn.
Deadlight: Fixed an issue where group members would see the portal visuals vanish before intended.
Death Stalks the Weak: Fixed an issue with a non-interactable door that would block quest progression.
Destruction Incarnate:
- Fixed an issue where an NPC could repeat the same voice lines over and over again.
- Fixed an issue where collecting a certain item while on the quest caused it not to despawn.
Forgotten Grave Goods: The icon for the Humble Gold Ring now has the correct art.
Mercenary in the Making: This quest is now properly marked as a Deadlands quest.
Mettle and Stone: Fixed an issue where an NPC associated with this quest would suddenly vanish.
Peace’s Wretched Price:
- Fixed an issue where Noroth wasn’t going into the proper pose when you entered combat.
- Fixed an issue where a number of quest items had a use prompt but did nothing when using them.
Robhir’s Final Delivery: Fixed an issue where your quest items would vanish while on this quest.
The Celestial Palanquin:
- Fixed some text that would reference events that never occurred.
- Fixed some issues tied to visual effects.
- Fixed an issue where you could get a quest NPC in a state where she would not speak to you and block quest progress.
- Changed the enchantment for the quest reward, Band of the Anchorite, to Magicka Recovery.
The Durance Vile:
- Corrected a line of dialogue that would be said in the wrong spot.
- Fixed an issue where one of the quest followers would not follow you in certain locations.
The Last Ambition: Fixed an issue where duplicates of the same NPC could appear.
Web of Lies: Fixed an issue where duplicate packages would appear.

General

Fixed an issue where weapon swapping without weapons equipped could infinitely stack certain item set bonuses.

Dragonknight

Ardent Flame
- Battle Roar: Fixed an issue where this passive could activate in some cases when it shouldn't have.

Monster Masks

Stormfist:
- This item set is no longer part of the burst prevention list. The majority of its damage is dealt on the final tick rather than the first, and you have ample time to move out of it before it detonates.
- Fixed an issue where this set was triggering under the wearer of the set rather than its target.

Overland

Hexos Ward:
- Increased the cooldown of this set to 7 seconds up from 6, which also fixed many issues with its visual effects.
- Increased the shield size to 14309, up from 12265, to make up for this cooldown increase and loss of uptime.

Added header text to announcement tiles for the Daedric War Celebration and Whitestrake’s Mayhem to be consistent with other events (specifically, the “EVENT:” text before the event name).

Fixed some item set curation issues in Hel Ra Citadel.

Stormhaven

Fixed an issue where distant terrain in Stormhaven could load as a black texture.
