Thank you for your help, much appreciated! Will let my guildmates know as I am probably not the only one who was completely unaware of it!

Does anyone know how many tickets per day (if any) will be available during the Explorer's event?

Unrelated: My advice for mat farming during the Explorer's Celebration is that Craglorn tends to be busy because of the chance to get Nirncrux, though during off hours it isn't too bad. If you want a chance at Aetherial Dust, go to a base game zone, including Coldharbor and Cyrodiil but not Craglorn or Vvardenfell (these came after release though are now included with base game). Also note that the old starting zones are always packed because the resource density makes for efficient farming, so there can be competition for nodes. And as SeaGtGruff said, certain DLC zones have a chance to drop style mats, which are good to stock up on but don't sell as well as Nirncrux, Aetherial Dust, or the rare torte recipe/mats from Cyrodiil.
theres something called an explorer's event with no information whatsoever about what that entails.

It isn't a ticket-earning event, so 0 tickets per day-- just double XP and double drops.
My second piece of advice, for those who like to craft gear, is to farm resource nodes in the zones that have unrefined style mats that can drop in resource nodes, such as Wrothgar, the Gold Coast, Hew's Bane, and Vvardenfell. (Are there any others?)

Also on this note, not only are there no tickets to be had, but the Impressario won't be around so if you want the mount, get it now (though the fragments will be available again during the New Life Festival in December).

Cyrodill does not drop aether dust. That zone was specifically excluded along with craglorn and the dlc zones when the item was launched. Chapter zones are considered dlc zones regardless of whether they come with a game purchase.

No, I have personally gotten Aetherial Dust from Cyrodiil not that long ago. That's why I posted all that, to help spread awareness because people often don't know about it.
Note that the 100% XP buff Aetherial Ambrosia, give you 300% XP and sells for 11K gold, Mythical Aetherial Ambrosia sells for 110K gold on PC EU, the 50% XP bonus Psijic Ambrosia sells for around 8K making the 100% best value for gold.Ziaohuamei wrote: »If you are leveling during this event a decent setup is this:
Full purple xp suite in w/e armor type you desire to raise w/training trait 10%x7=70%
2 hander purple weapon, because, brawler 2 op when grinding solo w/training trait. 8%
Grouping with a friend/2nd account. 10%
ESO Plus. 10%
Mythical Aetherial Ambrosia or Grand XP Scroll. 150%
Double Xp Event. 100%
You should be able to clock in at just under 350% with full xp boosts.
Now, you have several options depending on your wallet.
For those of copious gold amounts, nBRP runs purchased for large amounts will bring you the best bang for your metal.
For those of slightly less gold amounts, Skyreach runs are the next best.
For those who purchased too many patterns this Blackwood Event (that'd be me) public dungeons with easy loop groups are the next best.
For those who love overland grinding, there are always the zombie camps instead of PD's.
Happy leveling!

I know Anniverary event has double gold for everything but not sure about this event.
