ZOS/ESOs policy on bugged achievements (VIDEO)

Hello everyone,
I recently was reading about how some players have completed god slayer, planes breaker etc and had the achievement bug. I also found out that those players got no help from support. Coincidentally I ran into the common Castle Thorn trifecta bug right after. In this video I show you the run in which we did the trifecta and was not awarded it and also give some commentary on the overall situation...

I personally believe its pretty wild that ZOS/ESO dont have a way to fix this issue already. I have been contacting support on the topic and moments after I finished uploading this video I noticed I had a email from them. It gave some promising information about possible tools ZOS/ESO might create to fix this kind of situation in the future. Which is awesome to hear. I will be talking about that in detail in a future video. I wish I noticed the email sooner as I could of kept it all in one video.

1) This is not a bait thread. Any arguments that are inevitably going to start as a result of this post should be deleted. The overall thread is not bait and should not be deleted even if it is a criticism of ZOS/ESO.
2) This includes a general discussion about ZOS/ESO and how they treat their players. It is not purely about a bug. Moving it to the less frequented "Bug Reports" even though it is not about reporting a bug would look like a method to supress criticism.

✭✭✭Interesting.. I believe the collection of pieces in Wrothgar Zone is also bugged and prevents zone completion..

✭✭✭✭✭So, in past threads on bugged achievements, one common thread I've noticed is that Support is extremely leery of touching achievements. Messing with achievements seems to run a higher risk of corrupting the character.

Ideally, yeah, Support should be able to resolve achievement problems without running the risk of frying your character, but if they can't, then I'd really rather not have them try.6 -

Its looking more like a huge issue which corrupts player loads or something. This is awesome. Thankyou for sharing this. They might be making a "tool" which will allow them to give us achievements depending on the achievement and the evidence etc. I am guessing it will only be used on harder and more tedious achievements. If it is created at all. That is information I have got from ZOS so far. I will be making a video about it soon. I got the email after this was already made and up sorry.0 -

I agree. I think this should of never been a problem in the first place. That this was going to be a foreseeable problem. Most mmos have similar issues and need a fix.
HOWEVER
Mistakes happen, problems occur and I am glad they might be working on a fix.

✭✭✭✭✭It's about time to do something, yeah. Previously the most famous one was Maw DD where it was impossible to get Fang Focused on some accounts if I recall correctly and now it's spills on the many more instances and all recent trials which is a way bigger problem.
I hope their research and tools at work would at least do something if not actual in-game fixes to come.1 -
