Fishing needs some love: Could we please have a fishing event?

I did my master angler some years ago, it was a huge achievement since it took me so long. It felt rewarding back then cos perfect roe dropped more frequently and I made a fair bit of gold then i got my lil boat too.

Unfortunately, fishing no longer feels rewarding...perfect roe drop rates are incredibly low...so not worth my time to fish anymore, sadly. I cant even bring myself to fish so i can have the perfect roe for the many cooking master writs that are accumilating in my bank.

I'd love for fishing to get some love at least as far as rewards from it are concerned. Perhaps we can get a few more recipes from fishing, maybe some fishy themed skins or dyes or a rare pet.

A fishing event could be fun maybe over a few zones with some interesting and useful rewards. In my opinion, the boat we easily get from antiquities is much nicer than the master angler boat and the master angler reward took me several months of fishing rares to get plus i had to pay gold for it. The antiquities boart took me a couple of minutes to dig up and it was free....this feels a bit out of balance to me.

Im not complaining just saying its time fishing got a facelift 😆

Im begging zos to at the very least please consider putting some love into fishing...quite a few people enjoy it so why not improve it?!

It would be nice if we could get more stuff that awards us for actually doing fishing achievements, for example we get to buy boat for master angler but why not for example Dunmer boat for Deshaan region fishing, Orcish one for Wrothgar etc. or whatever else actually.

I mean it just doesn't feel rewarding enough considering how much time you have to use to get the achievement for each zone.

I wouldn't say a fishing event but it would be nice to add some drops to fishing like they did for Summerset.

Getting two fish on a cast was great until ZoS "fixed it".

I just want a better fishing rod personally, to replace this bamboo stick I found on the side of the road.

My elf hunts bunnies for small game to make her Ragout. A side benefit is getting lots of guts for fishing. The fishing is used for her Savoury cooking. So it all works out with even the rare perfect roe coming up.

We have zero interest in the Master Angler until/if such time as it becomes account wide. To only fish on one character to get it is just not going to happen.

More on topic, I'm not sure about a fishing event but I do think it would be fine idea to add small amounts of fishing to the large menu of choices used in determining daily endeavor tasks.
