Most recent example would be the story behind Kerbols's Hollow. (trying to make it spoilerfree) Nearly all comments my char was able to say would have been no-goes considering what the char has already learend by that time. Its like there where only the worst possible on purpose to click. Stuff I would not have let my char said at all because for exactly all the bad stuff that happend including the great choice between pestilence & cholera at the end because of being forced to either play a dumb char or to ignore the quest.
I really like the quests overall in ESO. Great diversity unlike in so many other mmos. But it just happes quite often that a char is forced to say/do very stupid stuff of the "its obvious to not do/say that" kind just to get the story in a specific direction.
