"Fixed an issue where this set could hit targets outside of its line of sight or pull them from areas they should not have been."

But why not live? Guess this wasn't much of a bug at all and rather a feature to the set that comes with the rest of the balancing on the pts.

Huh? Nothing goes live without being tested on the PTS first. Not that they actually listen to the PTS feedback anyways, but that's how it's done.

It was a bug fix, bug fixes almost never get tested on pts.

Game breaking bugs in PVE maybe... but you are talking about PVP here. ZOS doesn't consider anything PVP related to be game breaking, and they put the set in because some players thought it would help them kill ball groups (it didn't), so their priority to push a "fix", is probably pretty low on the to do list.

It's just, it's a bug, they absolutely know about it (because they did fix it on pts), they know exactly how to fix it (because they already did fix it on pts) and then chose not to fix it on live until next patch.

Have you played in Cyrodiil much? In the past year we spent like 8 of the months playing a "beta" for them to figure out what's wrong and causing all the issues, which they didn't manage to do. They had no issue putting their entire PVP community through a year of testing, messing up game play, adding/removing procs, lowering group sizes, changing how heals work, and ??? Seriously, ZOS has zero respect for their PVP community and could care less about any of it. Feel lucky they even bothered to patch it at all and it may get pushed live at some point.

Oh I'm fully aware, still annoys me though.

Does ZOS know how broken Cyro is right now? Do they care? I’m guessing no. If they could, I’m pretty sure they would jettison ALL PvP content and focus entirely on PvE where the $$ is. But they can’t. This HUGE game was built to be centered in lore and storyline around the Three-Banners War. And it is utterly broken when it comes to PvP. It is core game content and it is broken af. But you know what? It doesn’t generate money. Read patch notes for PTS right now and there’s no change in sight either.

My prediction: 1-button gameplay introduced by these new sets will accelerate PvP player departures until all of the PvP instances are ghost towns like IC. And then PvE players will finally get their wish when ZOS neuters IC and Cyro and replaces them with PvE husks. But, hey, on the bright side, you’ll finally be able to fight that monster on the IC bridge between Alessia and Roe.. What a shame, I really liked Cyro.
